The Wilson's Bird-of-paradise (Cicinnurus respublica) is a passerine bird of the Paradisaeidae family living in Indonesia in the hill & lowland rainforests of Waigeo & Batanta Islands off West Papua. The diet consists mainly of fruits & small insects. Due to ongoing habitat loss, limited range & exploitation, the Wilson's Bird-of-paradise is evaluated as Near Threatened on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.

There's a small, declining isolated population in Morocco, and it also occurs in Saudi Arabia and Yemen. It is a resident species of tropical and subtropical savannah. It builds a stick nest in a tree and lays 1-2 eggs. It eats a variety of vertebrate prey and large insects.
