COFFEE TABLE UPDATE: sand old wood furniture, do first coat of stain (following stain directions), lay lace on DRY stain and spray paint over the top (I used a metallic paint "Nickel" to give it some shine) then do the second coat of stain over the spray paint after it is dry. Don't forget to WIPE OFF stain after it has sat for a few minutes...restaining over a light color spray paint will make everything coordinate to the same color palette, clear coat and done! by uniquelyhillary

I just took an old plastic bin and wiped it down. Then I spray painted the outer parts first with a metallic/gold then got a spray paint gold glitter and put that over it. The front of the bins are painted in the chalkboard paint to help label my drawers! Very simple and took me maybe 30 minutes all together. Easy office decorations by elinor
