Perhaps the most haunted castle in Ireland is Leap Castle. More than 400 years ago, in 1532, brother turned against brother to shed blood. One was a warrior who rushed into the chapel and used his sword to slay the priest who was his brother. The priest fell across the altar and died. The chapel is known as Bloody Chapel since that time. The dungeon in the castle is called an oubliette. Prisoners pushed into the oubliette fell eight feet onto by dionne

GHOST GIRL! This is a photo taken in my grandparents backyard in the mid 70's. It was a birthday party for one of my aunts and there were a lot of kids around. When going through the photos a few days later when they were developed, everyone saw this face at the bottom of the photo but no-one knew who it was. That was until my grandma had a quick look and said "Oh, that looks like Maree." Maree had died about ten years prior to this photo being taken. by florence

The skull-shaped Snapdragon Flower Dragon(Antirrhinum majus) seed pod. The Antirrhinum, commonly known as the snapdragon has been a popular garden plant for many years.  Also known as the dragon flower, its common name derives from the resemblance of the flower to a dragon’s head.Yet once the flower has died, leaving behind the seed pod, something a little more macabre appears.  The dragon – just a visual metaphor after all – appears to have a skull. by florence
