Seriously clever idea, IKEA mirror is on hinges so it opens and closes like a door so you can get to the back of it. IKEAhackers added cork board to the back of the mirror and then simple pins so all of the jewelry can be hidden behind the mirror.
They sell these tins at craft stores in the wedding section (use a coupons to get a good deal) attach strong magnets. I got a metal board from Ikea and they just magnet on there. You could also paint a cookie sheet any color you like and use that.
IKEAhackers website - shows you how to use IKEA products for other purposes. shown: shelf divider used to hang a lantern. you could also attach a sign on top and hang something else against the wall!
These necklaces are very cute and easy to make: get a washer and then get some cute scrapbooking paper. Cut it to fit exposing a little of the metal. Paint a thin coat of mod poodge on the washer and put the paper on. Place a coat of mod podge on the top. When it's dry, put some diamond glaze over the top. Use chording to tie and attach a clasp.
Ikea "Musik Wall Lamp" - $14.99 Get two on to put on each side of vanity mirror for a glamourous touch to your vanity. I'll upload my version when I do this to my room. Update : I wen to to buy it but realized these are plug ins & you need to have electrical in your wall. Also it doesn't come with lightbulbs!
Cute...cover clothes pins with glitter, put a magnet on the back, and you have an instant way to display things on a board. ALSO...Mod Podge over the top of the glitter and it won't "shed" everywhere
