A fun sisterhood event. Bought the first letter of each girls name at Michaels along with different colored paint pens. The girls passed their letter to each other and they wrote something about their friend on their letter that described them. When they got their own letter back it made them talk and laugh and feel special. They even decided to write on the other side too. Then they each took their letter home as a party favor. They loved it! by rosella

Paint swatches framed behind glass to make a dry-erase calendar. I would make a weekly calendar and use a different color for each family member. You could even mark your recurring commitments (dance lessons, work schedule, etc) under the glass so that you don't have to re-write them every week. It would be easy to swap them out if something changes. by trisha.caslerbiesinger

I like this technique, not just for Christmas: Cut up pieces of colored tissue paper. Glue them onto a sheet of white paper. 2. Cut this sheet of paper into triangles to make the trees. 3. Paint another sheet of paper with three stripes of watercolor. 4. After the watercolor has dried, glue the trees onto this paper. 5. With marker draw branches and grass. 6. Use a paper punch to cut out white snow. by Asmodel
