“When I’m 80 years old and sitting in my rocking chair, I’ll be reading Harry Potter. And my family will say to me, “After all this time?” And I will say, “Always.” - Alan Rickman.
a Harry Potter obsession
“They asked me if I’m going to miss Harry Potter. I just laughed…I found it a dumb question, I spent ten years of my life with all those people. We studied, learned and grew up together. I lived ten years as Ron and now, it’s like I’m missing a big part of me.” (Rupert Grint)
“Anything compared to Harry Potter is probably going to be quite shocking, I suppose. Because we’ve grown up (on screen), because we started when we were 11, people think we’re still 11-year-olds. But it’ll be something that’ll always be with me. I’ll always be the ginger one from Harry Potter, but I’m quite OK with that. I’m proud to be a part of it, really.” - Rupert Grint <3
Blake Lively [On not having a stylist: “When I’m going to an event, I’ll send Christian (Louboutin) a picture of my outfit and say, ‘What shoes do you think I should wear with this?’”]

Letter from a Mother to a Daughter: "My dear girl, the day you see I’m getting old, I ask you to please be patient, but most of all, try to understand what I’m going through. If when we talk, I repeat the same thing a thousand times, don’t interrupt to say: “You said the same thing a minute ago”… Just listen, please. Try to remember the times when you were little and I would read the same story night after night until you would fall asleep. When I don’t want to take a bath, don’t be mad and d...
Recipe for Mexican Vegetable Soup - This is my go-to soup recipe. My family has been making it for years and it instantly makes me feel like I’m living back in Mexico City. Hope all of you enjoy it as much as I do!

Before and After
Remembering all of my happy and sad moments in life, I truly want to rewrite my history and make more everlasting memories that we can both share and be fond of through the many years to come. I want to take a picture like this and carry it with me. Show it to the world and relive it time after time. (NC)
Hey all,My name is Jenn… I’m the creator of the “Big Is Beauty Project” on Youtube.I took this picture about a year ago, right after I had surgery.I took it to prove a point. If someone of say, a size 2 were to have taken this picture - it would be beautiful and artistic. If someone of my size takes a picture like this, nothing but negative comments are written about it. Is this right? No. It’s not. Who are you to tell me I can’t be beautiful and artistic? Don’t be afraid of what others have to say. If you like your body and want to share it with the world - GO RIGHT AHEAD!!!!Get to know someone before you judge them. You have no right making other people feel like crap just because you don’t like the way they look.I struggled with body image my entire life, and just recently over the past few years have come to terms with the size of my body. It is possible to love your body, yet hate it at the same time. But, when the hate starts overpowering the love - you need to make a change. You can either try and change how you look, and transform your body into something that you’ll adore… Or, you can learn to accept and love the body that life has given you. You’ll never be perfect. Nobody is perfect. Nobody can say that they love absolutely everything about themselves. Learn to take something negative, and change it into something positive.t’s okay to be fat. Just as it’s okay to be skinny, white, black, gay, bisexual, straight, whatever. You’re you, and you are beautiful no matter what.Everybody is different, every body is different.[Exerpts from my blog; http://missbigbeauty.tumblr.com]BE BRAVE! JOIN THE REVOLUTION!

Must haves for the Harry Potter lover's home. i want the quote in the bottom left as a pillow for my reading room when i get my own place.
Julian Craster: One day when I’m old, I want some lovely young girl to say to me, “Tell me, where in your long life, Mr. Caster, were you most happy?” And I shall say, ‘Well, my dear, I never knew the exact place. It was somewhere on the Mediterranean. I was with Victoria Page.” “What?” she will say. “Do you mean the famous dancer?” I will nod. “Yes, my dear, I do. Then she was quite young, comparatively unspoiled. We were, I remember, very much in love.”
Alegra Shami, 84, with the only photo she has of her father. She was 16 when she arrived at Auschwitz. “They ordered us to stand in a line,” she said. “A young woman grabbed me and shouted: ‘Reach out your left arm. I’m going to put a number on it. And you will remember it for the rest of your life — if you survive at all — just for as long as you manage to survive’. I’m 84 years old. My number: 76914.”
Especially since I found an app on my phone that lets me read them for free. *-* All of my time shall be spent reading Manga.
Travel & Places
An old picture of a Beatles jam session contains a man who looks almost exactly like Matt Smith’s Doctor. It makes perfect sense when you think about it. If I had a box that gave me access to all of time and space, chilling with the Beatles would be pretty high up on my list of things to do. I’m surprised it took The Doctor until his eleventh generation to get around to it. Steven Moffat is pretty excited about the photo too. “Bloody hell!!!” He tweeted, “Clearly we’re going to make that
LOVE this chair!!! Now if only I could get my two year old to sit on it and stay there! for when you need a time out
Harry Potter Onesie PROTECTED BY LOVE Black by waycooltshirts, $16.00. Does it say something about me that I want my baby to dress like a nerd from birth?!?

solution: go to the bathroom rite before the set starts and hide in the stall, just sitting or crying. Then when you come out after missing a 200, say you were stuck in your suit, or if it's a girl, say it's "my time."
I LOVE this book called No Fighting, No Biting! by Elsa Holmelund Minarik and illustrated by Maurice Sendak. I still have the copy my Nana gave me when I was 4 years old.
Children's books I love
Say this all the time. When my kids were younger....they would reply "YES!" then I would say "with soap?" The answer would always be obvious when they would turn around and walk back to the bathroom! LOL!
something to talk about
Back in our old quarters in the Training Center, I’m the one who suggests the public marriage proposal. Peeta agrees to do it but then disappears to his room for a long time. Haymitch tells me to leave him alone. “I thought he wanted it, anyway,” I say. “Not like this,” Haymitch says. “He wanted it to be real.”
APS: "This is my Harry Potter quilt. I designed ALL of the paper-pieced blocks and the castle quilt layout myself from scratch. It took me a number of years, but I finally finished it. Each column represents a different book. Patterns for the entire quilt are up on my website for FREE. Hope you like it!uploaded by user"
When I'm old and wrinkled, and all the nursing home aides see my tattoos when they bathe me, they'll snicker and say 'She must have been wild in her day!' @Alisha Sopota Camp
After - French Chair. I stripped the white finish off, took off all the old green velvet fabric, sanded and stained the wood, and had my
"But I'm an old Lady." This is a response I hear all the time, when I approach people and ask if I can take their photograph. I always reassure them that they look wonderful and are exactly what I'm looking for. It saddens me to think that these gorgeous, vital, and creative women are made to feel less important and less beautiful as they age. The woman above started off by questioning why I would want to photograph her. After I was finished she thanked me with a big smile on her face....
People always ask what I will do with my tattoos when I'm old...well, here ya go! This is me in 50 years! :) I can only hope I'm this Bad A!
