Classifying Triangles Math Game/Math Center: This is a great station or activity for students practicing classifying triangles by sides lengths or angles. Students play in groups of 2-4. They flip one card over. Everyone in the group tries to accurately complete the problem (this is not a race!). Once everyone has finished, they check answers.. All students with correct answers get to roll the dice. Whatever they roll is the number of spaces they move on the game board.

Thanksgiving activity for math class! In this Thanksgiving-themed activity, students practice applying the Pythagorean Theorem. Students travel in pairs to eight stations as they practice finding the missing side of a right triangle, finding the distance between two points, and solving word problems contains scenarios that can be modeled by right triangles. There is also one basic 3-dimensional application involving a cone. By Free to Discover.
Let your students independently and effectively learn the Pythagorean Theorem. You be the facilitator! Students love discovery exercises. With Geogebra, the user can move and change objects with the click of a mouse. In this exercise, when you move a given point, a new right triangle is formed.Text boxes on screen automatically update and display changing angles in degrees as well as the lengths of the sides of the triangles.
