I dont usually like spiders, but I love the idea of these spiders....plan to make some with my children and give some away has gifts...
I don't usually drop hints, but I would love a few clipboards like this! Previous pinner wrote: Teacher Appreciation Gift Clipboard ~ These clipboards, mini or regular, would make terrific gifts. Decoupage some scrapbook paper to the clipboard and add some embellishments such as ribbon and stickers.
How to make a glass map (or any other image) necklace. I made some of these to give as gifts for my co-workers and had everyone want to order more. Just like the Creator of these says, she stopped selling them because she couldn't keep up with the custom orders!~!
I want to make some of these and fill them with homemade vinegars, bath oils, etc to give as gifts.

You give them the detailed job cards and then off they go to help you keep a clean house! I usually keep a point tally with my smaller kids (big kids dont really care for the point system, you just take away privileges from them if they don't cooperate!) Points = rewards like: dollars, soda, gum, movie rentals, screen time, etc.
Make your own dog feeder with a wooden stool, stainless steel bowl, scrapbook paper and mod-podge. I would need to check the height for this, but it does give me the idea of finding some kind of wooden stool for this. I could do without the scrapbook paper and mod-podge, though; I would just paint them. I need 4 of these!
I love talking small business with other work-from-homers. It's a constant challenge for me to streamline how I do things and find what works best for me. Here are some things I've found helpful in the work from home game. Have a weekly plan. I used to make a to-do list every single day, but recently I've tried a new system that has been more effective for me. Making a new to-do list every day was starting to make me feel like a failure (not to mention is sort of exhausting, who has the time?) I
i dont usually like this kind of cute-sy stuff but for some reason i like this the hello kitty nails! 50 Animal Themed Nail Arts
I wish for my classroom to be like... I love this idea. To make it my own, I wrote each of the ideas on a tile, and I plan to zentangle them...then I will have a nice, customized by me, frame of what I'd really like for the school year to mean for me. I will post when I finish my complete project :)
so i went on amazon this morning and bought a load of plain white mugs for £9.99 cause i have been dying to make these personalised with sharpie mugs since the start of the year.. I am making loads for all my friends, but making it like a personal hamper. Each one has: a per of fluffy socks, a candle, a face mask pack and some chocolate. I am so excited for christmas! only 17 days to go!
DIY Hooded Towel - made two of these tonight. It was pretty easy, except sometimes the layers got pretty thick. My sewing machine managed to power through! They turned out really cute and I love how big the hood is. I made them for gifts but I think next I'll make some for my own kid!
Things That Make Me Happy
The office/work room project continues. I think my biggest problem this far has been storage in that room. It just collects. If you know what I mean. So this time my plan was to incorporate some major shelving. I wanted it to look custom but knew the hubs would never go for anything with a “custom” price tag. So I went to Pinterest and found this inspirations.. So I followed the link and found an amazing tutorial of how to make these ... Continue Reading »
I love black-eyed peas! Id much rather have fresh peas than dried, but Ill take them anyway I can get them. I dont remember where I found this recipe, but I really like it. The original recipe used salt pork, but I use bacon. Give me a bowl of these peas, a dash of Tabasco, a slab of hot-from-the-oven cornbread, some green onions and tomato slices then stand out of the way!
My Style Pinboard
Royal Design Stencils - Not usually a fan of such ornate design all over the place. But I like the idea of using the stencils here and there to add some subtle surprise detail.
I LOVE this idea to honor my grandparents. I plan to make it dual sided, with an image of both sets on their wedding day...with the ribbon
This is my dream home right here! I thought that i would never be able to get on of these but with my dream to become a doctor i will make the money to earn this house and nothing will stop me. I hope that some people have big goals like i do because it really makes life easier;)
these are some of the best wedding vows I've ever heard of: his pledge to her: "i will kill the spiders. i will share my fries with you
Put a piece of your wedding dress gown into a necklace. Such a cool idea. My dress has a big stain on it and I never knew what to do with it. I could make a number of these and give them to any future brides of my grandsons as the something old.....
Love this haircut.... I might do it like this. I dont want to cut my hair but the ombre has to go!

FRIDAY AFTERNOONS:This term, my weekly supervisions are on a Friday at 1pm. This means that my week revolves around one hour (or usually two) of intense one-on-one contact time with my supervisor. After a supervision my brain always hurts so much, and I usually feel mentally drained but also weirdly energetic (?). I usually go to the gym straight after supervisions to release energy, but I’ve also found that the time following a supervision is great for organising the week to come. I had a brand new Moleskine delivered today (yay!), so I spent time drawing out a timetable for next week & I’m gradually filling it in. My week may seem quite empty at the moment, but I usually fill each day in as I go through the week, informed with an overall view of what I need to get done by the end of the week. It may seem unorganised to do this, but my degree is quite self-motivated with hardly any contact time or relevant lectures, so organising my days as I go along works for me. Also: some things here happen very last minute, and I wouldn’t like to tightly pack my schedule early on in the week only to have to change it later. I’m a bit of a perfectionist and would hate to scribble stuff out. But I can tell you something: most of that week from 8am-9pm will be filled in with red: WORK TIME. Thank goodness I love my degree. -Sarah
I love crockpot and slow cooker dinners but my kids often find them too mushy and boring - can't wait to give some of these a try. Esp. the lasagna!
Not usually my style, but I really like the look and the colours of this room.
Floor plan 5713 | would hate to put guest upstairs, but at least they'd have their own bathroom, and the jack-n-jill has an element of privacy as well. I definitely want a two-story home more than a one-story, so that's a bonus. Speaking of, the bonus room would be great for a family media/game room, craft room, what-have-you. I like it, just needs some tweeks to make it my own!
Spinach Dip From Scratch | I have a serious love of Spinach Dip. It's a must make at any kind of gathering with it's creamy texture dipped with crusty sourdough bread! I'll be real honest with you right now my husband usually eats half the container before the company arrives and then tries to come up with some lame excuse with a couple of kisses on the cheek and the words but baby used a lot! | From: serenabakessimplyfromscratch.com
I love the idea of these wetsuits (because I don't like managing my bikini when I'm boogie boarding) but not so down with the buttcheeks just out there!
For the Kids
“When I was much younger, I was often asked in what ways I thought I was similar to Ron. My stock answer usually included something similar to: ‘I like sweets, I’m scared of spiders, I’ve got ginger hair, I come from a big family.’ But, the truth is that Ron is my hero. He’s always there for his friends—sometimes belligerently, but there nevertheless. And no matter how scared he may be, he will put aside his fears to support and protect the
