The TORTA method for ganaching a cake - by tortacouture @ www.CakesDecor.com :: Lc- the blog has many good tricks for this method. The reason they're so vertically perfect is she uses two boards, the exact same size, slightly larger than cake - and this is neat "you apply water to the board before applying it to the top of the cake, the ganache will have seized on the top making the top board just pop right off." By Kassi Lynne. Use this tool to ink the raised parts of dry embossed cardstock. Stick craft foam to a felt pad, then to the Velcro on an ink blending tool. The foam is hard than a blending pad, allowing you to hit only the raised areas. It will hold & distribute ink & paint better also. (It won't work well for blending ink, though, so use the Ranger foam or felt pads for this.) With paint, use a very thin layer on the foam & really spread the paint out as you are picking it up. by kim
