our "idaho sunrise" shot #2.. no, we did not have idaho potatoes, but it still worked!!
Looks I Love
Did this with our fresh haul this year and we still have mostly all good ones almost two weeks later. I say it definitely worked.
Looks I Love
We referred to the plans at Anna-White.com. It is made up of regular 2 x 4′s, some 2 x 2′s, and rough pine planks all purchased at our local Rona store. We had to modify the construction a bit because we did not have a Kreg Jig, but I think ours turned out pretty darn close.
Citronella candles. Not super easy unless you already have the candle making stuff, but I'll still give it a shot!
serena and lily asher bedding. We did this for our boys room. Very happy with it. Still need to order the skirts for the bed though. Love Serena and Lily, but not cheap

Timing was not on our side but it all worked out in the end. Soulmate
This is not even a joke. This is literal. If I have a fight with a flatmate and it resolves, but she' still sore about it- even if we come to a mutually agreeable end to the fight, I can't go back to calm until she does. Also, there have been times I have noticed peoples' moods before they even did.
This really works - we did it for our raised beds and regular garden, no weeds for two years!! The newspaper will prevent any grass and weed seeds from germinating, but unlike fabric, it will decompose after about 18 months. By that time, any grass and weed seeds that were present in the soil on planting will be dead. It’s green, it’s cheaper than fabric, and when you decide to remove or redesign the bed later on, you will not have the headache
Sometimes in the middle of grief it may seem that God has abandoned you. But He promises never to leave or forsake you. We do not grieve as those who have no hope, our hope is in heaven.
Words to remember
gyros! we did not use ground beef, but lamb meat from our "river market."
my family....we may not have it all together...but together we have it all!!
OK…We did not have Bieber Fever- BUT ohhhh David Cassidy…Donnie Osmond and Bobby sherman!
12 Cheapskate Splurges. Although these might be splurges--they are WELL worth it. The only 2 we haven't done: Club Level Accommodations (not in our room enough--although we have splurged to get a water view); and pin trading (fun for kids no doubt, but there are so many other things to buy, (I absolutely treasure my Venetian Glass Mickey Wine Stopper and Mickey wall clock). But - pins are cheaper! So definitely splurge on WHATEVER will bring
Ballet. Ballerinas live for it. We were born to do it. It challenges us. We invest all of our time to it. It's the reason for our blood, sweat and tears. It causes us pain and frustration but we still love it. Ballet is our passion, our life, and everything to us and no one but ballerinas will ever understand that.✨
How to clean a microfiber couch. I will definitely try this! (I didn't try this really, but we have a microfiber couch. We just used a rug doctor and upholdstry cleaner. Took the stains right out. It did nothing to the fabric itself. Now, our couch set is light brown, not white. So, IDK. Maybe use the recipe in this pin?)

Potty training tips. Another pinner said "Great reminders. We did this with our first and it worked out great. Consistency and fun is the key :)"
I have no idea why this made me giggle as much as it did. Worked for me. Hope it works for you. :)

How to feather-sex day old baby chicks. We did this with our last batch of chicks and it worked 100% for us. ~WR
Dexter may not have been quite as strong since Season 4, but I still love it.

THIS IS WORTH KEEPING AND READING FREQUENTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Written by a 90 Year Old..... This is something we should all read at least once a week!!!!! Make sure you read to the end!!!!!! Written by Regina Brett, 90 years old, of the Plain Dealer, Cleveland , Ohio . "To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me. It is the most requested column I've ever written. My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more: 1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.. 2. When in doubt, just take the next small step. 3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. 4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch. 5. Pay off your credit cards every month. 6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree. 7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone. 8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it. 9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck. 10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile. 11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present. 12. It's OK to let your children see you cry. 13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about. 14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it. 15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks. 16. Take a deep breath It calms the mind. 17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful. 18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger. 19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else. 20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer. 21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special. 22. Over prepare, then go with the flow. 23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple. 24. The most important sex organ is the brain. 25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you. 26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words :'In five years, will this matter?' 27. Always choose life.. 28. Forgive everyone everything. 29. What other people think of you is none of your business. 30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time. 31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change. 32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does. 33. Believe in miracles. 34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do. 35. Don't audit life.. Show up and make the most of it now. 36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young. 37. Your children get only one childhood. 38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved. 39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere. 40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back. 41. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need. 42. The best is yet to come... 43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up. 44. Yield. 45. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift."
