How to grow strawberries vertically with a PVC pipe support system. The instructions on this site are well-written. No heating/re-molding of the PVC pipe is required.   PVC pipe can be painted. Lightly sand the pipe, paint with primer (Kiltz or Zinsser 1-2-3) to cover up any writing on the pipe and seal it, the spray with plastic spraypaint (Krylon Fusion). by nita

This is the collaborative art project I helped the kindergarten at Goliad Elementary do for a silent auction. I made 105 individual colors from acrylic paints and let each of the students use one color to place about 10-20 finger prints each on the watercolor paper. The image was marked off with masking frisk that just peels and erases away after the paint dries. What an AWESOME experience. The looks on the kids faces knowing they made a piece by gertrude

1. Found an old window shutter from the thrift store....$4.00    2. Acrylic paint (brown and teal)....$0.98 each.    3. Elmer's glue....$2.98        Used brown as my base, let it dry then put elmers glue ontop. While the glue was nearly dry but still tacky I applied the teal on top of it. The elmers glue helped give the antique/rustic look. Then I painted some old picture frames! by maribel
