A no-sew easy to move "safety-curtain" for a classroom door. It is a dowel rod and command hooks spray painted with oil rubbed bronze and drawer pulls hot glued to the ends. A no-sew curtain long enough to cover the door and then some is draped over the rod so the pattern shows from the outside too. Roll up the material and then use Velcro to attach the ribbons. by roslyn

Old bed post with old door knobs makes a nice coat hanger near the door especially if no closet is available in that area. To attach the door knob you can glue with a heavy duty glue or purchase wood dowels that fit center of knob flush and measure and mark where you want the door knobs and use screws long enough to go thru headboard and into the dowel inside the knob. If you can find a good glue that is easiest way to go. To hang put two screws by lora

Daycare Button Tree...the kids loved doing these...the trees were hot glued together using a dowel & a 1 1/2" square block with a hole drilled in the middle. For the branches, I disassembled a wreath & used 3 of the stems, trimming after gluing to create the angled branches. Kids tacky-glued buttons & a star at the top today...and were thrilled to take their treasures home! by janell

Holiday Hatbox: Using crafts glue, cover a hatbox or large circular box and lid with decorative paper. Add decorative ribbon around the edges to help hide the seams. Slice off part of a foam ball to form a knob. Attach the flat side of the knob to the bottom of the box, which becomes the top when presenting a cake or cupcakes. by Asmodel

DIY Bottle Cap Flower Garden Art Stake It takes a little trial an error but all you do is take heavy duty pliers and smash the bottle caps into petal shapes and then epoxy or use a super glue rated for metal and attach to a can top in at least two circular rows. Then glue a stick to the back after it's dried 24 hrs. Easy once you get the hang of smashing bottle caps :) by wendi

I love these for my studio! 1. I found these old buttons in my parent’s basement. Most of them were loners so I turned them into classy push-pins. Cut off the back loop with pliers. 2. Hot glue is my best friend; just a little dab on the back and attach the tack.. by proteamundi

cool fairy wings made from wire, tissue paper and resin and decided to give it a whirl. . They're quite simple...we just formed rough wing shapes out of thicker wire and then wrapped skinny wire around a few times. Then we used Elmer's glue to attach a bit of metallic tissue paper to the wire. When that was dry we spread some Easy Cast epoxy resin (the "mix-2-equal-parts-of-the-2-bottles-together" stuff) on them, suspended them from a little dowel and let them dry. Here are the results... by proteamundi

Double Hanging Bulletin Boards Sometimes one bulletin board just isnt enough, especially when theyre as pretty as these two. Wrap a frame in colorful fabric. Hot-glue the fabric to the back of the frame, pulling it tight as you go. Then, hot-glue corkboard cut to size to the back of the frame. Attach two lengths of matching ribbon to the top with small nails, letting the ends hang over the front. Hang the frames side by side for a uniform look. by patty
