One of my favorite shower gifts was from my mom. She sent out blank recipe cards out to friends and family with addressed& postage paid envelopes asking them to send me their favorite recipes to start my own collection. For weeks I received all these great letters in the mail with recipes and stories and then my mom gave me this great album at the shower to hold all my recipes. I have the most meaningful and fun cookbook ever! :) --->wonderful
My daughter pinned these for me, because she knows I love them. In fact, my mil gave me a dozen of these on the day said daughter was born because they were my favorite.

Prince William speaking of his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother: "My favorite photograph of us together is a picture of me aged about nine or ten helping the Queen Mother up the steps of Windsor Castle. I remember the moment because she said to me: "Keep doing that for people and you will go a long way in life."

I found a fun new blog, and I had a lot in common with this girl. I liked her. And as I devoured her posts, my heart started burning with shame that I didn't do something equally as impressive as she had. And then Holy Spirit hit me hard with the conviction of this favorite sin. I didn't realize how much I was lusting for the world when I was reading my favorite blogs every single day. read more--->
My entire adult life I have wanted one of these for laundry or something, because of the scene in Annie where she hides in one to get away
Someone needs to buy me this
I have finally found the pattern for the throw I want to make! Each square is knitted separately and various cable/lace/textures are used to create interest. I will be doing mine in shades of white and shades of blue to match my bedroom colour scheme. As it uses acrylic yarn it isn't expensive to make either. Thank you Lionbrand for this free pattern.

My MawMaw would always make up a batch of her famous salmon patties when I came to visit as a kid - she would have a tinfoil pie plate sitting in the toaster oven filled with 'em just for me because she knew how much I loved them. Here's her recipe! #cansgetyoucooking #familyrecipe

Designs I LOVE
I still have this set of Barbie reels and the View-Master I had as a kid. It was my all-time favorite set to look at!
Trisha Yearwood's Uncle Wilson's Stuffed Peppers... my grandma has made these for me a few times and there have been times when i have eaten over half a dozen in one sitting. So good. HOWEVER, she mentions in the book that hard boiling the peppers will save time so my gandma tried it and they fell apart when she took them out of the oven and made the dish watery. So, don't hard boil the peppers and eat up!
