make-your-own-magnetic-makeup-board-cheap-frame by ailjkic,I would use a piece of sheet metal that you can get at any lowes or home depot and have it cut to the side of your frame. If you want it black you can paint it. also use heavy duty magnets that you use hot glued to the back of makeup to hold it on. For the baskets I might use the hooks made by 3m with adhesive on the back. by Jinx62

Dryer Vent Pumpkin
For those of you who maybe haven't see this industrial pumpkin before, here is what you need: Dryer vent (purchased at your local hardware store), orange spray paint, a stem (I used cinnamon sticks, but you can use sticks or whatever you want), and a little bit of raffia. I cut and glued the vent into a donut using hot glue. Then I spray painted the whole thing, making sure to get in all the groves. Attach the cinnamon sticks by Tonya Ford Ashley

This would be a great way to ensure good attendance in a classroom. Fill each cup with one "prize". Number students, each day the next student in line can punch out a cup and retrieve a prize, treat, etc. If they happen to be absent, the next person in line gets to punch that day, and the person who is absent has to wait for his/her number to come back around. by millie

Bought a cookie sheet from the dollar store, covered it in fabric, glued 2 layers of cork board to the bottom portion, glued her name in glitter. Glued 3 buttons together and then onto magnets for the top portion. Tried fancy ribbon to hang but it detracted from the rest. Think I'll make one for myself now. by wendy

Ruth activities We did a little Ruth craft. I cut out a basket out of brown cardstock and cut a slit in the basket. Then we glued the basket onto paper. I cut yellow pipe cleaners into various lengths for "grain" and we stuck the grain in the basket; could use real wheat. by josie

Toddler Weekly Calendar. Glued ribbon on a yard stick, used Velcro to attach the days of the week. Printed out clip art of activities of the week, ie school, church, t-ball, birthdays, holidays, etc. Glued them to clothes pins that can be interchanged. Also included a "Today is" clip that my son can move everyday. Great way to teach the days of the week, and no more 100 questions about when his t-ball game is, I tell him to look at his calendar!! by ethel
