OK, the trick to making sure your second row of stitching catches the back bias edge is all about the first stitching line and not the bias inself. Make sure your second row is above the original stitching line (towards the fabric edge). If it falls on top or below it then it won't catch at the back. Do this by pressing your bias top edge just a smidge over the stitching row - this keeps everything straight as well. by CottageBianca

How to trim just a bit off a piece of glass. Find a straight piece of 2x4 that is at least as long as the piece of glass that needs to be trimmed. Next, cut a groove in the edge of the 2x4 that is just wide enough to accept the glass without being forced and deep enough to reach the scored line on the piece of glass. After scoring the glass, slip it into the 2x4 and align its edge with the score mark. Lift up on the 2x4, (drawing) and the glass should break evenly right where you want it to. by iris-flower

Looking for the best way to paint a beveled door? It’s easy! Start with Area A, using an angled brush to paint all recessed areas. To prevent brush marks on the larger, smooth areas of your door (B-E), line the recessed areas with painter’s tape. Next, move on to Area B, painting each subsequent area in alphabetical order. Use a brush or roller, making sure with each stroke that the fresh paint you are overlapping is still wet. This will help to avoid paint streaks. by jolene
