Just made this as a Valentines Day card for my Mission Friends group and they turned out super cute. I wrote will you be my... on the front and this as the inside message. The kids will all sign them and put their hand prints in the shape of a heart at the bottom. I will try to post finished pictures.

I wrote a paper on this painting and how I felt it reflected my daughter Cecilia and I. I would love to have a very large print of painting of this one day. - Art by Gustav Klimt
Gemstone brooch of Catherine Howard. Lovestruck with his very young bride, Henry VIII spent more money on jewels and gifts for her than on any of his other four wives. The French ambassador wrote: "the King is so amorous of her that he cannot treat her [Catherine] well enough, and caresses her more than he did the others." In return, Catherine was caring and affectionate to her much older husband. Initially, Henry refused to believe that Catherine was guilty of any indiscretions.

I just adore Jill McDonald's artwork. Here's what she wrote on her blog "So by now we've all heard that Kate Middleton & Prince William had their baby. What a strange thing it must be to share such a personal moment like that with the world. Even I felt compelled to make a little sketch of the baby prince. "
Offbeat Bride Tribe member monicawesome wrote some pretty down to Earth vows to herself in preparation for her wedding day. We think every bride could benefit from this little personal vow pep-talk.
This is so cute! Each girl sat took a turn sitting in the middle and all her friends wrote one describing word about her on their blackboards. :) (they weren't allowed to see what their friends had written until the shoot was over. hehe!) ;) So fun!
bride writing a message to her loved ones in heaven and releasing a balloon into the sky for them.. Might have to do this on my own time that day

5) Stepping in other peoples is a very important thing that Tambu learns how to do. By getting an education she begins to understand her brother and why he changed. She understands why he felt shame about their parents and their home. Also, this quote shows that the men in the story have not yet stepped into women's shoes to understand their opinions and the sacrifices they make. This society is so unfair over women. If men stepped into women's shoes, women would have more power.

simple... use a paint pen to write a personal message when gifting wine (some friends just had a "wine shower" for their engagement party, in which each couple brought a bottle of wine and wrote on it. liked that idea!)
Love this idea. Guests write a message, pop it in the bottle then the bride and groom open them on their first wedding anniversary.
