Road Trip Snack Boxes for Kids - I made these for this summer's trip and it was a huge hit. I found the boxes in the craft section at Wal-Mart and included a variety of salty and sweet treats. Then on each leg of our trip (divided up into 1-2 hour increments), they could choose one or two things to eat. Very convenient on us as parents and the kids love it, too. -- I am so doing this this summer!
I love doing this with my students...except the one year that my kids were so upset that they "let me down" (even though they hadn't and i explained it was a lesson) and some began to cry. I miss my ALA kiddos
I NEED TO MAKE THIS! Maybe the kids will stop asking if they know they can find the answer outside of the room. What are we doing today? This is posted outside the art room so the kids can see before they walk it.
