I've used a mirror as a headboard for years. It looks like I'm not the only one. ;)
For the Home
REALLY interesting idea for a tattoo! Colorful, on the shoulder/back. Faded colors, no outline, very soft. Not like anything I've ever seen before. Looks like the rainbow a prism makes when the sun hits it, only pastel
Cheese dip!!! I've been looking for this for years! For some reason the only Mexican places I've been to that make this are in MS! I'm pretty sure it's not authentic considering it uses American cheese but I don't care! Taste just like in the restaurants!.
Honey has been used as a popular remedy to induce sleep for thousands of years and for good reason not only does it help with inducing sleep but helps the body repair and even heal from adrenal fatigue
Kuroko looks slightly demented or evil in this picture. Kind of like if Kuroko and Akashi had a kid. I'm not the only one that thinks that, right?
Another pinner said: I've used feely boxes for years, primarily as a hook to introduce new lessons. I like the simplicity of these. I also like the idea of using a number of them to introduce textures, shapes, etc.
I've loved you for a thousand years ♥ I do not like the series, as I do not like or believe in vampires. But the song and music are beautiful.
Products We Love
Made by Nicole: For the last few years I've been creating most of my work from the ground up. I used to buy patterned paper, stamps, embellishments etc. Now I carve my own stamps, gelli-print or paint paper instead of buying it and make my own decorations. While it's more labor intensive, it's also loads of fun (especially since I'm not a shopper).
Creative Journals and Scrapbooks
Here is one of the BEST tattoos I have ever seen. Even though it is only black ink, the detail is phenomenal! The three-dimensionality… it actually looks as though her skin is being used as a corset-like bodice. Amazing!!
Pink Sugar by Aquolina: The ONLY perfume I've worn for several years! Compliments all day long! It used to be really hard to find... Ulta has it, too.
I will sort my books this way, I like how it looks (but only for the books I've already read)
I'm not the only one with a tattoo of my puppy love it :)
This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I'm not sure how you'd build it, but a mirror that opens up into secret jewelry storage? I'll take one!
I love the window pane idea. We used it for our wedding but only as our guest signing not a menu board
10 *Brilliant* Frugal Gardening Tricks! I've used the tp roll trick for a few years now. When I plant the roll I leave a bit of it exposed. It not only helps to guide the plant upright but more importantly keeps the bugs away. And I label each roll w the variety of seed so when I finally get around to marking the plants I have a quick reminder of what's what!
Modular, insulated, earthquake- and cyclone-resistant, but it's not a container — it only looks like one. Very cool anyway.
Love....Love....Love this movie...Practically have it memorized! "I'm not crazy M'Lynn..I've just been in a very bad MOOOD for 40 years!"
Books Worth Reading
I'm not the only one who hopes for a Doctor Who Sherlock crossover.
Crockpot....beef tips over rice or noodles. Really good. I would double the recipe (as shown in pic) unless you're only cooking for two. And I'm not sure I'd use both packets of onion soup mix. I used one, and it was seasoned just right. Any more would have been far too salty, IMO. Better on rice than pasta.
LAVER BREAD The best way to describe this food is that it is green, slimy and looks like badly boiled cabbage. And ... it's not bread at all its seaweed. Welcome to the Welsh delicacy: Laver bread. Apparently, it can be fried and served with bacon, rolled in oats to form a patty or even used as a straightforward vegetable accompaniment for lamb or mutton.
I've done this & love looking through them as the years go by! .....As cards come in, punch a corner on each one and added it to a metal
