A 1950s Donald Knorr metal chair in the sitting room of a New York townhouse; the Navajo rug dates from the early 1900s.
Tool Shed Turned Craft Room || Great way to have a craft room when there's no room in the house.
In 1983, Theresa Knorr shot her daughter Suesan, 17, in the chest & dumped her in the bath. In 1984, Knorr tried to remove the bullet from Suesan’s back. Suesan contracted an infection, so Knorr set her on fire alive, outside the city. In 1985, Sheila, 20, died from dehydration & starvation after Knorr locked her in the closet. Sheila’s body was dumped by a road & remained unidentified for years. Knorr’s youngest child reported her to the police in 1993. Knorr was sentenced to life in prison.
There's a touch of whimsy and serenity in the decor and the muted grays and blush tones that I'm just drawn to in this room.
