My fam command center. All items purchased from Ikea, Target, and Micheal's dollar bins. Used for my kids busy days, bills, and important date/to-do's. Added a touch of my husband by placing a keyholder gift from his dad. All push pins, just hot glued paper flowers found on clearance for a buck (12 pk). Fave is the picture frames up top. $1.00 find for all four, used scrapbook items I already had. I cut out everything myself and just added sticker letters. Everyone who has seen them think they're store bought! Set up in a small unused corner in kitchen/dinning area leading out to sunroom. by tammi

Girl scout promise door hanger. The girls glued the promise to a piece of construction paper that had holes punched in it. Then yarn was used to make the door hanger. The girls are supposed to hang the promise on their bedroom door and are supposed to recite the promise every time they walk through the doorway. Practice makes permanent! by leann

Bought a cookie sheet from the dollar store, covered it in fabric, glued 2 layers of cork board to the bottom portion, glued her name in glitter. Glued 3 buttons together and then onto magnets for the top portion. Tried fancy ribbon to hang but it detracted from the rest. Think I'll make one for myself now. by wendy

A no-sew easy to move "safety-curtain" for a classroom door. It is a dowel rod and command hooks spray painted with oil rubbed bronze and drawer pulls hot glued to the ends. A no-sew curtain long enough to cover the door and then some is draped over the rod so the pattern shows from the outside too. Roll up the material and then use Velcro to attach the ribbons. by roslyn

I am going to do this!! Stained Glass Cake Stand. Fill the bottom of a 12" cake pan with CHEAP, plastic, transparent pony beads. Baked them in a 425 degree oven for 30-40 minutes until all the beads had melted. Let the pan cool for 20 minutes, then flip the melted bead 'plate' out Finally, I glued it to a dollar store candle stick and, presto! Cake stand! by vere.immich
