I am often asked “which is better a 504 Plan or an IEP?” My response always starts with “it depends.” They both serve different purposes and have their own strengths. In a broad sense, they are both detailed plans, created by the school and parents, to outline how a student with a disability will learn. A 504 Plan and an IEP are both intended to protect a student with a disability to ensure that they are learning in the least restrictive environment. by aisha

DIY Tip of the Day: Gravel Path. Gravel is inexpensive and easy to work with, and makes an excellent garden path. Dig the path at least 6 in. deep and edge it with vinyl or steel. Lay down landscape fabric to block weeds. Cover the fabric with 3 in. of sand, then 3 in. of 3/8-in. crushed limestone or washed pea gravel. Smaller stones make a path that’s denser, more attractive, weed resistant, and easier to walk on. by georgia

Add architectural interest to your walls with molding, beadboard, or wainscoting. For wainscoting, add an extra-deep baseboard or beef up the existing baseboard so it's at least 3/4-inch thick at the top. Then nail 1x3 boards vertically around the room, spaced 8 inches on center and butting the baseboard. Top the vertical 1x3 boards with a new piece of molding. by theresa657

Grab a small very small amount of dipdown onto macs #266 brush then outline/trace the bottom of your brown. Using the same brush just clean it off, use an eyeshadow about a shade or two lighter then your hair and fill it in. Using another eyeshadow in a shade darker than the first (I use brown down) fill only half of the eyebrow starting from the bottom up, just half way to blend the dipdown to your brow! using a concealer carve out your brown by mmonet

Stacked Crate Shelves Wooden crates can be put to great use as a shelving unit. Honestly, this is probably one of the easiest shelves that you can build. You just need a couple (or however many you want) of wooden crates that you paint or stain to match your existing décor. Then just attach those shelves to the wall, stacking them for a great shelving unit that is fully functional and absolutely gorgeous. Lock In the Hooks The No. 1 complaint about pegboard? Hooks falling out when you remove a tool. The solution? Lock 'em in place. Zip ties are an inexpensive, surefire way to go—but you need to have access to the back of your pegboard (or plan ahead and install the pegs and zip ties before you mount the board). by lorraine

Paint a mirror frame with chalkboard paint. What a cool idea! Paint a dresser to match and then lean the mirror against the wall on top of the dresser to make the set look like one piece.
