These earrings and necklace was for my mother's 50th bday, 7/11. She look them, they earring was a little small but pair with the necklace
Low Carb Cauliflower Hash Browns: I made these for dinner tonight, they look nothing like the picture (I think they were a bit deceptive with the photograph) but the flavor was great, and I will make them again!
These earrings are great, a tad bit less shiny black diamond than i expected but i got them for my mother and she loved them. the best part
Stir Fried Cheerios Recipe - Perfect Snack for Kids! My mother made these often for us when I was a child. But she didn't use the cinnamon and sugar. She called them "Buttered Cheerios". They are soooo good! I also made them for my children.
I'm very pleased with these earrings, I was able to get the carat size I wanted and they still look amazing. I purchased them as a birthday
This is a very clever print ad. In my opinion what makes an ad interesting to look at is the way they tell the story. For this one, Levi's has come out with a jean that is similar to a guy's but now has a fit available for women. When I first looked at this picture, I thought she was in the same pair as he was. And then when I looked closer, I saw that she has her own pair on and she is just as big as one of his legs. It was very clever to me. #M2350
Photo Balloons--such a cute idea for an anniversary party or milestone bday....did this for my parents 50th wedding anniversary...was a great idea that eveyone loved. Did 5 different pics, one from about every 10 years and had people take one when they left if they wanted one...Miss them both every day!
I love handmade ornaments and I’ve waited a whole year to share these little firs. It started with an email from my mom last fall after she returned from a local gardening shop she and her husband frequent. The link was to a darling multicolored felt stack Christmas tree pair, something for the mantel, cute …
These double-headed earrings will add a little luxe factor in the coolest of ways. Wear them with more earring in the back (so right now!), or switch ‘em around for a classic look—definitely not your mama’s pearls!
The Music Man (Shirley Jones and Robert Preston - 76 Trombones). Shirley Jones was so sweet and adorable in this film, and Robert Preston such a rascal--but a rascal with a heart of gold. Wonderful song, wonderful movie. This was my mother's favorite movie. She went to the thearter to see it a half-dozen times, something she never did. And when VHS machines came out, I got her a copy of the Music Man for Christmas. She was so happy!
My daughter pinned these for me, because she knows I love them. In fact, my mil gave me a dozen of these on the day said daughter was born because they were my favorite.
"But I'm an old Lady." This is a response I hear all the time, when I approach people and ask if I can take their photograph. I always reassure them that they look wonderful and are exactly what I'm looking for. It saddens me to think that these gorgeous, vital, and creative women are made to feel less important and less beautiful as they age. The woman above started off by questioning why I would want to photograph her. After I was finished she thanked me with a big smile on her face....
I got these earrings because I saw a pair at Macy's that were twice the price. When I received them I was pleasantly surprised.Really happy with my purchase
Veggie Bars! I recently had these at a party and they were amazing! Everyone loved them, even the kids. These are no bake and look super simple to make. Instead of mayo my hostess used greek yogurt. Instead of cresents she used a whole wheat pre-made pizza crust. I'll have to ask her what brand because it was the PERFECT crust!
yummy in my tummy
I have actually made these! They are great! I made them with my step-daughter when she was about 8 or 9 and it was huge fun! Give this a
These earrings are absolutely beautiful. They look like they should cost more than they did. They are very light when worn (which is good for the earlobe) but looks very substantial. I am very pleased with them.
"The Cooking Photographer: 1970s No bake Coconut Orange Juice Cookies" - found these when I was searching for something else, but I recognize the recipe: my grandmother (on my dad's side) used to make these, though what I really remember is my mom making them when I was growing up because she was a fan of them. One of these holidays, I'll have to
My Style Pinboard
This picture was taken by a friend of this person's daughters. She, along with her boyfriend, and a couple of other friends, were camping and naturally taking lots of pictures. When they had the film developed, they were not only stunned, but very saddened to find what appears to be a lonely little girl standing behind them.
These earrings are great, a tad bit less shiny black diamond than i expected but i got them for my mother and she loved them. the best part is you cannot beat this price. amazon sells them for just over a hundred and zales sells them for just over 500. so take your pick
- My third or fourth and almost last time at attempting cake pops. Those dang things finally stayed on. The coating was a little thick for my liking, but I balanced that out by not using any frosting at all. So glad I didn’t give up. These turned out more beautiful than I expected and I think they would be perfect for a wedding, shower, or baptism favors. I tried two different designs. These two different colored butterflies and the gold and blue, painted with luster dust. Loved them both.
I got this ring to go with a pair of peridot earrings from the amazon collection and was very pleased. The diamonds are VERY small but the
My preschool Father's Day gift! I wrote the poem, it says: "see these gloves daddy? They don't fit me just yet, my handprints are on them so you never forget. I'm only small for a little while, So remember my hands and remember my smile. I love you daddy, with all my heart. No matter how much I grow, we will bet grow apart."

A 21-week-old unborn baby named Samuel Alexander Armas was operated on in his mother’s womb by surgeon Joseph Bruner. As Dr. Bruner completed the surgery on Samuel, the little guy reached his tiny, but fully developed hand through the incision and firmly grasped the surgeon’s finger as if thanking the doctor for the gift of life. Dr. Bruner said when his finger was grasped, it was the most emotional moment of his life, and for an instant during the procedure he was just frozen, totally immobile. The baby was diagnosed with spina bifida and would not survive if removed from his mother’s womb. Little Samuel’s mother, Julie Armas, is an obstetrics nurse in Atlanta. She knew of Dr. Bruner’s remarkable surgical procedure. Practicing at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, he performs these special operations while the baby is still in the womb. During the procedure, the doctor removes the uterus via C-section and makes a small incision to operate on the baby. Little Samuel’s mother said they “wept for days” when they saw the picture. She said, “The photo reminds us pregnancy isn’t about disability or an illness, it’s about a little person” Samuel was born in perfect health, the operation 100% successful. What a beautiful story!
The Easter Egger chicks look like little quails and run around like them too. This is Gadget in a moment of calm. She was sold as an Ameraucana, but I imagine she's technically an Easter Egger.

Baby Sock Snowman Ornament DIY Tutorial @Just a little Creativity: When my daughter was about four (she's 14 now) she and I made baby sock Snowman Ornaments. Each year, we pull them out of the ornament box and we reminisce for a bit about making them. This year, Little Man was fascinated by them, so I decided to make a few with him and Joshua. They're cute, easy, inexpensive, and each little snowman has it's own personality (just like my silly
Mrs. Mary Couchman, a 24-year-old warden of a small Kentish Village, shields three little children, among them her son, as bombs fall during an air attack on October 18, 1940. The three children were playing in the street when the siren suddenly sounded. Bombs began to fall as she ran to them and gathered the three in her arms, protecting them with her body. Complimented on her bravery, she said, "Oh, it was nothing. Someone had to look after the children."
