Dryer Vent Pumpkin
For those of you who maybe haven't see this industrial pumpkin before, here is what you need: Dryer vent (purchased at your local hardware store), orange spray paint, a stem (I used cinnamon sticks, but you can use sticks or whatever you want), and a little bit of raffia. I cut and glued the vent into a donut using hot glue. Then I spray painted the whole thing, making sure to get in all the groves. Attach the cinnamon sticks by rae

Pinner says: Easy ideas for pops of color in your garden when you don't have a green thumb.I love adding a sense of the unexpected in my garden and these little lady bugs are perfect. They were created using an old tennis ball that I cut in half and a little bit of Portland Cement. Once dried they popped out of the tennis ball easily (it got easier and easier each time I used the same ball). I then spray painted them, added the details and sealed the paint with some outdoor spray sealant. by cathleen

COFFEE TABLE UPDATE: sand old wood furniture, do first coat of stain (following stain directions), lay lace on DRY stain and spray paint over the top (I used a metallic paint "Nickel" to give it some shine) then do the second coat of stain over the spray paint after it is dry. Don't forget to WIPE OFF stain after it has sat for a few minutes...restaining over a light color spray paint will make everything coordinate to the same color palette, clear coat and done! by wendi

Crayon art DIY 1) Print off a black and white portrait. 2) Tape it to cardboard. 3) Use an x-acto knife to cut out all of the negative or positive space. 4) Move the pieces you keep to canvas, and trace. 5) Tape over whatever you don't want colored. 6) Melt your crayons. 7) Peel off the tape (Could skip 1-4, and draw the image directly on the canvas.) by proteamundi

I want to be. If you think you've not married your soul mate, don't just walk away from the relationship for that reason alone. Spend some time getting to know yourself a bit better first. You can't find your perceived soul mate if you haven't found yourself first. by judith

I have a big 22 inch metal paint guard that I use when painting baseboard. IT'S A LIFE SAVER! I just run some tape along the carpet that's next to the baseboard (to keep the fibers down) and then use the guard above the baseboard on the wall, to protect the wall while I paint along the baseboard. It saves me tons of time, because I don't have to tape off twice... just once on the carpet. by tracy sam

I can vouch for this trick. Don't like using OFF on the littles because of the DEET? Use Listerine! It repels the mosquitoes!! It has to be the original flavor, not the frou-frou flavors. Fill a mister, spray yourselves, off you go! :D You're welcome! by terra
