If you are buying storage anyway why not make it into a craft. PVA glue and tissue paper (or pictures cut from magazines). Once in place add a coat of PVA to varnish them. If you have good PVA then you may need to water it down a little. (Ikea draws between about £10 & £20 pounds) Decoupage also works well on cardboard. by claudia

HULA BLOCKERS:All you need is a couple of hula hoops and a bean bag. Set the hula hoops flat on the ground several feet apart (ours were about 8 feet or so). To play, each player stands in their own hula hoop and attempts to toss the bean bag into the other hoop. The defender tries to block the bean bag from landing inside the circle, by using their hands, feet, head, etc. to deflect it. by Camille Fite English

DIY Bottle Cap Flower Garden Art Stake It takes a little trial an error but all you do is take heavy duty pliers and smash the bottle caps into petal shapes and then epoxy or use a super glue rated for metal and attach to a can top in at least two circular rows. Then glue a stick to the back after it's dried 24 hrs. Easy once you get the hang of smashing bottle caps :) by wendi

Best advice someone gave me that helped a ton, NUMBER your rsvp cards because some people write a note where they should put their name and you have no idea who it is! Once you get them back in the mail, go into your excel spreadsheet and mark them coming or not coming. Then you also dont have to worry about losing the cards and you can easily tell who still owes you one! (For the OCD planner in me) by Maiden11976

You put an item in the mystery bag and then have the kids take turns asking questions to try to narrow down the possibilities. It is great to develop deductive reasoning skills. (You could also do this with sticky notes all week and "reveal" it on Friday. Have a separate piece of paper where students place their questions throughout the week. As you have time, move their questions to the "Yes" or "No" side. It will generate excitement all week long.) by tamara
