**THIS WAS MY CLASSES FAVORITE VIDEO THIS YEAR!! They asked to watch it multiple times...) This group is amazing. I love using these videos as video prompts in music class. The students watch the video and then respond with how they felt, what they liked about it, etc. Then several students share with the class. It is compelling to see what students think about "classical" music (in many cases) that has been "modernized". O Fortuna - ThePianoGuys

I am often asked “which is better a 504 Plan or an IEP?” My response always starts with “it depends.” They both serve different purposes and have their own strengths. In a broad sense, they are both detailed plans, created by the school and parents, to outline how a student with a disability will learn. A 504 Plan and an IEP are both intended to protect a student with a disability to ensure that they are learning in the least restrictive environment.
I love the idea of using mason jars with homemade labels on them for storage. They are inexpensive and allow you to see whats inside.

This is a set of 64 Crayola crayons with labels so that while children are coloring, they are also exposed to the names of chemicals that will make those colors! So instead of thinking “I want green” they will think “I want Barium Nitrate Ba(NO3)2 Flame” and then when they take chemistry in high school and their teacher sets some gas on fire and it makes a green color and they ask the class what chemical it was your student will know it was

I love ground cherries! When they are ripe, the paper lantern will fall to the ground. They can be collected from around the base of the plant with leisure, as they will stay unharmed until the paper starts to decompose, about 3 weeks after they fall. This is a great list of unusual fruit to grow. #spon #gardening
This is a quilted tablerunner using fabric from Jansdotter's Echo collection. I love how the pieces are all put together!
Feelings check in book. Collage on paint samples. This is a spin off of a project @Cathy Malchiodi | Art Therapy introduced in a class. I'm using this in my internship at a high school. Have the students pick a paint color which matches how they are feeling and then decorate it. Sometimes I add an activity to it, such as, write a poem or find a photo to go along with the mood. They get really into it!
