use baking sheets from the dollar store to organize quilt pieces. Arrange them on the cookie sheet (four blocks per sheet for this particular project) and then you have a nice tidy stack next to the sewing machine. It makes it quick and simple to jump back into a project when you get distracted. by edwina

The most wonderful gift I’ve ever given cost me almost nothing. I contacted friends and family members and asked them to send me memories and old pictures of my grandfather. Then I wrote one memory (or printed one picture)on each of 365 pieces of cardstock. I folded each in half and secured it with a bit of tape, then placed them all in a big jar I decorated. Every morning for the next year, my grandfather would take out a paper, open it, and see what other people cherished in him. He loved it. by aftr

Water Relay – Take a few plastic cups and poke small holes in the sides. Next, fill a bucket or ice chest with water. Set buckets about 10 yards from bucket of water. Have each child grab a cup and fill with water. They must then carry the cup of water over their head towards the empty bucket. Repeat. The first one to fill their bucket to the top with water wins. by vicky

Bible Jeopardy game for youth group. I printed 25 cards (5 each 10 points, 20 points, etc...) and about 30 different categories (Biblical places, Who Am I, The Disciples, etc...). Each time a question is asked, turn it over to remove it from play. There is a Question & Answer sheet for each category. Cards have a hole punched in them so they can hang on cup hooks attached to a sheet of painted wood! Use flyswatters for buzzers. The fly swatter on the bottom of the pile buzzed in first. by violet

A fun sisterhood event. Bought the first letter of each girls name at Michaels along with different colored paint pens. The girls passed their letter to each other and they wrote something about their friend on their letter that described them. When they got their own letter back it made them talk and laugh and feel special. They even decided to write on the other side too. Then they each took their letter home as a party favor. They loved it! by rosella
