How to Clean Your Ceiling Fan... We love this trick for dusting off the blades of a grimy ceiling fan without getting a face full of dust. Simply slide each blade, one at a time, into a pillowcase and wipe off the blade with the inside of the pillowcase. All the dust, dirt, and debris will stay inside. Then simply shake out the case outside and throw it in the laundry bin.

How To Clean Your Ceiling Fan - the pillow case on one ceiling fan blade. Then slowly pull it off taking all the dust and dirt with it. Repeat with each blade. It’s that easy. Even better all the dirt is inside the pillow case and you can take outside to shake out before sticking right in the washing machine.

took an old window and painted the back using paint and my star stencil. I used both house paint and craft paint that I had on hand. I added a touch of brown to my white because I wanted a more distressed look on my old window. I started with the white, wait for it all to dry then paint blue over the white stars in one thick stroke. Do another coat when it drys if desired. Then paint the red stripes

#3: Turn an Armoire Into a Vanity. Great idea for a teen girl's bedroom. Keep all that hair and make up stuff contained in one spot, then just close the doors and hide it.

Deadlift & Bent-Over Row Combo: Stand with your feet hip-width apart, holding dumb-bells at your thighs (A). Keeping your knees bent slightly, bend at the waist until your torso is parallel to the floor (B). Pause, then pull the weights up toward your rib cage (C). Lower them, press back on your heels, and stand. That's 1 rep.

Fill an old paint can w/ SAND, not dirt. Pour in a small can of oil. Keep your garden tools in the sand. It works by keeping them clean and oiled (no rust).

I just took an old plastic bin and wiped it down. Then I spray painted the outer parts first with a metallic/gold then got a spray paint gold glitter and put that over it. The front of the bins are painted in the chalkboard paint to help label my drawers! Very simple and took me maybe 30 minutes all together. Easy office decorations

“Just let this old box gather dust. No one can open it, no one will even notice it. Let it become a strange little thing standing on a street corner. And over the years, the world will move on, and the box will be buried. And if you wanna remember me, then you can do one thing. That’s all, one thing. Have a good life. Do that for me, Rose. Have a fantastic life. “

I found an old wooden desk and repurposed it using my fabric for inspiration--The drawers on the other side are all different colors of the flowers--I took my fabric to Lowe's and had them match about 8 of my favorite colors in the little sample bottles and then used them to paint my desk, the legs of a wooden table and so on. I still have paint left over. Samples are the perfect answer to this type project. Waxed the desk when painting was completed.

Point out the shapes as drawn, then erase lines to fill in with realistic details--the erased lines serve as guides; then color with colored pencils following a photo for a model). 8 year old drew this on a blank greeting card, added an orange trumpet vine, blue impression of a sky, and labled the back with "hummingbird" (which she learned to spell over the course of 3 days, breaking the word into syllables.)

She painted right over the original wood finish with OLD WHITE, then layered PARIS GREY over that. She used CLEAR WAX and distressed it. Allowing the OLD WHITE and the wood finish beneath it all to peak through. She then sealed it with a little more CLEAR WAX, followed by the DARK WAX.

"I think shaggy haircuts like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's new shorter look works great," says Christian Wood, Toni & Guy U.S. celebrity stylist. "Keeping the ends soft with lots of layers helps create volume and much needed movement." For an easy style, he recommends applying sea salt spray all over the hair and then blowing it dry to add texture and even more volume.

Here is a close up of the Duck Egg Blue wash over French Linen on the case of the buffet. After I painted with FL I waxed and then used a heavily diluted mixture of DEB and water, painted on to let it sit in areas I wanted to highlight and then wiped it off in some areas. The drawer fronts were done with a different method. I based coated with FL and then used FL, DEB and Old White, all three colours at the same time to randomly load my12095084_761980123929208_5907418543084277544_o.jpg (636×960)
