Ring rubberbands around glass vases / candle holders. Spray paint frost. Remove bands. Love it! I think it may be pretty sweet to do this for favors, but instead of using votives, pour candle wax inside and make candles with these. by Lynn W

Cheap glasses, rubber bands, and frost spray paint. Place rubber bands how you want, then use Rust-Oleum Frosted Glass spray paint, waiting 2 min in between coats. Once dry you will want to use a sealer to make it water resistant. You can use Krylon Matte Finish Spray or Krylon Crystal Clear Acrylic Coating. by lakisha

how to build a barre at home - I will have to get this on the "honey please do list"! BTW I did get my husband to do this and it was really easy and only cost about $30.00. It works great and I love how easily you can move it. Not as sturdy as the really expensive ones you can buy but it gets the job done for what I use it for. by proteamundi

I made a chalkboard table! So easy! Only part I hated was waiting for 3 days before we could draw on it. But I just taped paper over top and let my son loose with his crayons until the table was ready. It really is easy! Sand, paint (I used coffee colored chalkboard paint), sand again, wipe, condition (rub chalk all over it to completely cover it) and wipe again. Then draw! Have fun! by shari

How did I make this?  Well first I sent hubby down to Home Depot to get some Drain Spout, it came in a white PVC material and was less than $10 for about a 12 foot length.  I measured my markers and decided that I wanted them to stick out a bit, so I had him cut the spout in to 5 1/2" pieces.  Then I used some contact cement to glue them together and some spray paint (cause white just is NOT my color, lol!). by jana

Faux bubble gum machine. I made this for my son's teacher for a Valentine's Day gift. I used a 4 in. clay pot with 2 matching saucers, a glass bowl and a wooden knob. Painted it all red with spray paint and glued it together, tied a ribbon around it and filled it with kisses. Thank you Pinterest for another cute and easy idea : ) by SAburns

So I decided to attempt my own febreeze using the scent booster! Materials: Spray bottle 1/4 cup scent booster beads 1 cup hot water Enough water to fill your spray bottle the rest of the way by lucinda

"Some colors I used last season were Silver Strand (light blue gray), Mindful gray, Oyster Pearl, Passive Gray, and Intellectual Gray. I also like soft greens and richer blue tones. A good clean white is nice for trim because it makes the wall color pop. I use oil based paint on all my cabinets and trim so it is easy to clean. I always like to get samples and put them up on the wall before I determine what color to go with." by margarett

“When Hostetler was studying graphic design in college, his professor asked them to write down our least favorite color, and I wrote, ‘yellow.’ So he made me use only that color for the entire semester. Now I love yellow, because I found out all the incredible things it can do to jolt the eye & bring light to shadow. Yellow works well with just about any other color. It makes you happy.” A stream trickles through this shade garden illuminated by by brandi

Made a height chart! Easy-peasy! 6ft Wood plank at Lowes was $11.00, stain $4.00, black paint we already had. Stencils for numbers we already had. My husband stained it, we let it dry for a day. He measured it out to start at 6" (so we will hang in on the wall 6" off the ground) the total height will be 6'5".... We measured it off. Used paint. 3" numbers, traced it, outlined with sharpie and them painted inside! Spray with clear protectant spray and enjoy! by lacey
