Pretty red pine cones...something new to do with all the pine cones in the yard! If you soak them in i gal. hot water with a 1 oz. bottle of red food coloring, then allow them to dry on paper towels on cardboard, they will have a stained look...much softer and prettier than the painted ones! And it goes so much faster.
LOOOOOOVE!!!!! in my i like weird and unique stuff kind of way... the only reason this would suck is because i feel like it would snag on
Look at this fabulous backyard water park that my husband (I mean my 3rd child) custom built in our backyard!!! It has a dump bucket, slides, water cannons, a kiddie section, squirting palm tree, and more! The water is chlorinated and recirculates. This is not a pool....this is not a splash pad....it's one of a kind!!! It is the first ever residential waterpark!!! It was not expensive to build either. Probably about the same as an above ground pool.
Forever Decorating!: Garden Teacup Chandy - the author uses this one with candles in the garden (which I think is a GREAT idea) ... but I was thinking of one (maybe with mismatched teacups) and filled with birdseed. I like that she turned the saucers upside down, needs to be unless you hang it very low.
Gravity Falls theme song reversed~ I HAVE SO MANY THINGS TO SAY! I think I already posted this, but it is super cool so oh well.I love how it is reversed,it sounds cool! and go to 0:28 to 0:31. So normally if the theme Mabel and Dipper walk through and Mabel smiles, like she is excited to be at Gravity Falls. But reversed, it's like she realizes all the weird/dangerous things that happens! Also people say that big foot is in the theme.when it shows the trees, look carefully!
Rooms that rock
These look super yummy. Also think about all the different kind of jams and jellies you could use... Apple with a little bit of cinnamon or caramel (YUM!). Of course I would substitute apple sauce for the oil (since that's what I've been trying to do when baking these days) and it doesn't seem like such a bad for you recipe.
not sure what kind of photography gradient/texture/style? this is, but i like the vintage-y look of it!
Might seem weird pinning this here but I think it is healthy and not something to be surprised about. After all death is one of life's certainties. "Here's a four part overview of the grieving process, showing the self-protective shock and denial, followed by the resistance of anger and depression, leading finally to release, resolution and peace."
Don't know what kind of dress I want yet but this is kind of a cute concept. I think I'd rather have it as a shorter dress but still with pockets and keep the top as is.
I was kind of thinking an old door would be fun to close off the weird corner between the carport and grape bed, but I also like the idea of doing something with the rain spout there.
You could probably spray paint each of the cones before assembling them on the cone. For instance, I think it would look cool if the pine cones with sparkly gold or silver.
Is it to early to think about spring? This is very cute. I like the egg wreath in front of the mirror too!
hmmmm... could do something like this in the wooden box, with evergreen, berries or pine cones - and raised candles.
All things Christmas
I think this is too complex looking, but shows what it would look like to use tonal changes and very slight picture rotations, versus reversing the picture

"Pride gets you to think about me, myself and I. It may be natural to think of ourselves first, but in the kingdom of God, we are to think of ourselves last. " Today on TCG we are looking at the problem with pride and how to overcome it. Head to the site to read the full article! (Link in profile)
I have seen this quote before... I honestly used to be appalled at the thought of it because it is so true about who I am and I was probably afraid to even admit that by liking it. But last week I saw teenagers writing it on their camp shirt and I was like, "ok. what kind of example am i? maybe it's time to embrace this shit now." (I, Sarah O'Connor, wrote this paragraph, it is not lazy re-pin.)
Bouquet of beautiful blue orchids and white lilies. I want it! I think this is the bouquet I want for sure. I amy add other flowers in it but I actually like this one a lot. The orchids are very colorful so I have a lot to work with here as far as matching them to any bridesmaids' dress colors.
I wonder if I could convince Adam to build us something like this for the backyard this summer... but it would need a cover. And I think I would fill it with just dirt and maybe we could enclose the sides with something cheap like plastic trellis and put a water table in there. Messy but super fun!
For the Kids
Something about this photo just... mmm. I think it might be the slightly film-like look of it. And maybe I just like rain. And trees.
Our new pop-up greenhouse, with shade cloth on! Its not quite as easy as they make it look on the box, but it is pretty easy - just like putting a tent together. I like to have fresh greens all winter and this is how I do it. I have two Juwel Cold Frames. I sprayed black paint on two 1-gallon bottles for each. Fill the bottles with water and put them at the back wall of the Cold Frame.
I really love the pearls in the glass jars with candles--I think I want to do some version of this with smaller lace jars and votive candles--I'll look into DIYing this.

Want a tattoo that says, "Home is where the fireflies are." I think I want that one in color, because I'm not quite sure how good fireflies would look in black and white, but this is kind of cool. Maybe I could have little "sparks" or "stars" to represent the fireflies coming out of the jar.
I made this dish up the other day on a kind of Moroccan vibe, when I was mucking about with ways of marinating and tenderizing a neck fillet of lamb, which is a really tasty and cheap cut of meat. I trimmed the meat of all sinews, bashed it flat using a rolling pin, and made 2 incisions down the length of each fillet, but not quite to the end, so it looked almost like a tripod. I then marinated it with lots of spices and herbs and plaited it, to give a contrast between crispy and soft meat ...
Chantilly Lace - Amazing 3D Tattoos. I kind of want to do something like this, but with a gun in it.
Sew Kind Of Wonderful I like the use of straight lines in different directions...it's not something I would naturally think to do but so effective
“I look at photographs, the ones that people ask me to sign sometimes, and think, ‘What are people seeing?’ I have had this face for 35 years. I’m never going to change it. But I wouldn’t desire me. I can see beauty in other men. Ryan Gosling? F- - k. George Clooney? Wow. But you can see the enigma in those kind of faces. But I can’t see it in myself at all.” - ARE YOU MAD, SIR?!
For the tots
I made this gift basket for my boyfriends first basketball game of the season. The wire basket (hoop) is from dollar tree and I filled it with his favorite candy. I tried to make the sign look like the backboard but either way he was very happy with the gift!
I have always been passionate about raising kids who love God. But I had a very rigid idea of how to do it and what Christian kids looked like. Over the years, I've discovered that it can look very different than we think. This post gives 5 common myths about raising kids who love God.
I never really noticed before now how deep this quote is. "I have struggled in vain and can bear it no longer." Like, just think about it...That and the look in his eyes...
