I love talking small business with other work-from-homers. It's a constant challenge for me to streamline how I do things and find what works best for me. Here are some things I've found helpful in the work from home game. Have a weekly plan. I used to make a to-do list every single day, but recently I've tried a new system that has been more effective for me. Making a new to-do list every day was starting to make me feel like a failure (not to mention is sort of exhausting, who has the time?) I

"I stitch pictures about things that have happened in my life - they usually show me and my family and my pets. They're a sort of diary of memories, usually sad ones as I tend to stitch to make myself better after something awful has happened. . . My pieces are very domestic, they are about our home, and life in our home: they are our wallpaper. I like to think I am making things like women in the past making quilts - memories held in fragments of cloth and stitch." The work of Primmy Chorle...
Want to Try Jewelry Making? - Many people dream about making their own necklaces, bracelets, or earrings, but they figure they don't have the skills needed for jewelry making. Beads are a good place to try your hand at making something unique without needing to invest huge sums of money in things like a kiln, torches, or many fine tools.
TIP: I make a triple batch of waffles whenever I make them and store them in the freezer. If I get home late from work, we have waffles and eggs! All I have to do is toast the waffles like an Eggo Waffle and fry a few eggs…dinner is ready in 5 minutes! If you would like to see a video of me making the waffles, click HERE.

TIP! How to keep track of the woven length. "I started from my visual memory of a friend's loom, with a flexible plastic-coated tape measure tacked to her weaving as she went. However, rather than commit my only non-retractable tape measure to this (some things, I do only have one of!), I remembered I had purchased some terrific ruler ribbon from Jo-Anne's, for my class, The Nalbound Edge..."
