As an editor of the high school newspaper, the editor-in-chief of the high school literary magazine, and a college journalism major, I have clearly always been someone who doesn’t mind writing a research paper or an essay. In fact, I welcomed these assignments when I was still in school. I would pick a 10-page essay over a math test literally any day of the week. I’m a fast writer and I managed to get good grades on my papers even when I admittedly didn’t try very hard. by michael

I loved my Nintendo DS. While mine was also pink, it certainly didn't look this cute, but I used to play it quite a bit when I was in high school. It was a fun way for me to wind down and relax, and I had a lot of games that required brainpower, so I was learning at the same time. by kaye

My mom is 91 years old now, but through the years, when I was a kid, the best thing about Thanksgiving was the stuffing. Hers was the best I ever ate. Loaded with flavor and completely delicious. When I got married and started my own family, I made sure I had this recipe in my recipe box. I've used it all my life. by morecerv.

Ya I have a problem cause me and my friend made a bet that when my crush moves away, I would tell him I like him. But, he was saying that he was moving in like two years, but we just recently figured out that he's moving right after school ends, so I have three days to figure out how to tell him. So I'm basically a mess. I also have no idea what board to save this to by rebecca2

When I was a little girl I dreamed of having my own magazine. I even used to type out my own little stories on my old-school typewriter with a view to piecing them together one day. The other day I came across a picture of my childhood cat. She entered my life when I was 9 and lived for 15 years. It’s amazing how much love and comfort those little creatures can bring. I can only hope she was as happy to have me in her life as I was to have her in mine. Did you have a childhood pet that held a special place in your heart? This is to all the animal lovers out there ❤ by Makia55

When my Daughter was younger all her friends called me the Napkin Lady. Each day in her lunch, I'd draw a picture, poem or just a little love note, and include a little goodie. It got to the point all her friends were asking me to also send them notes, even the boys. I had several that I'd include, once a week, I guess they loved the extra attention. When I saw this Pin, it reminded me of it... <3 by GodMick

so sweet!!! ~ "This is my favorite photo in the world - me and Linus, born to a dairy cow and ordered to be killed when the farmer saw he was a male (and thus useless in the dairy industry). A compassionate individual intervened, and he was brought to a sanctuary. I met him when he was a few days old and 60 pounds, and he would always try to sit on my lap. Today, 7 years young and 1500 pounds, he still tries to sit on my lap.” ~ Colleen Patrick-Goudreau by julie

"A Promise" | Loch Lomond, Scotland • "An early morning drive around Loch Lomond revealed a glimpse of the incredible beauty of the region. Coupled with a blood red sunrise and low lying mist, I wished that if there were only more time, I would be able to capture some more of its genteel landscapes. Instead, armed with a map, it was all guess work and a targeted approach in trying to find a location to best make the most of the sunrise. I’m happy to say that on this occasion it was a fruitful mission and we managed to enjoy two wonderful locations during our final landscape shoot of the trip. How often do we seem to experience great light and locations as soon as home beckons? Even the drive down from Ullapool was an exercise in frustration. All the mountains along the route were now covered in snow, the fire grasses thick with frost, the lakes giving off mirror like reflections, and the light glorious. Unfortunately, it was not possible to stop along the way and these beauties had to be experienced without a camera in hand. At the end of the day, I believe this is as it should be. Scotland showing itself at its best, teasing me, making me promise that I should return one day to deepen those scratches that I have made on its surface." by Kah Kit Yoong via 500px.com by jewell
