And SSMBB was about a guy who joined the foreign legion and who - in the part we haven’t seen - returned looking a LOT worse for wear. Maybe homeless, definitely psychologically damaged. My theory is that they left this out from the short film, in order to make it into a feature film, i.e. Samarkand. :) I hope so, I really want to know what happened. by margret

Stripped naked on the battlefield, and carried off on the back of a horse, Richard did not receive the noble burial of a king. For centuries his final resting place was a mystery. Then in 2012 these bones were dug up from under a car park in Leicester. Evidence suggests this skeleton belongs to Richard III. But even if his remains have been found, it’s likely that the speculation about this intriguing medieval king will continue for years to come. by henrietta

Khnumhotep and Niankhkhnum were ancient royal servants who shared the title “Overseer of the Manicurists in the Palace of King Niuserre.” The two men are depicted on their joint tomb in one of the most intimate poses allowed by Egyptian artistic conventions: face to face, with their noses touching. Important Facts About Complex PTSD- the symptoms of PTSD do not always completely map onto the experiences of people who have experienced chronic, repeated, or long-lasting traumatic events, such as childhood sexual and/or physical abuse, domestic violence, or captivity (such as being in a prisoner of war camp). When it comes to these events, the symptoms of PTSD do not really seem to completely describe the psychological harm, emotional problems, and changes in how people view themselves and the world following chronic traumatic exposure. Therefore, some mental health professionals believe that we should distinguish between the type of PTSD that develops from chronic, long-lasting traumatic events as compared PTSD from short-lived events. The diagnosis of "Complex PTSD" refers to the set of symptoms that commonly follow exposure to a chronic traumatic event by deirdre

This scene. This scene is so important, and I feel like no one ever talks about it. It’s so pivotal and fitting that Lucy is the last one to see Narnia, the one to close the door. Since it’s been said in interviews that The Silver Chair will be like a whole new franchise, this final goodbye to Narnia closes out the stories we’ve come to love. Lucy was the first to find Narnia, and her faith, hope, and light are such a central part of the series. She was present at Aslan’s death and resurrec by louisa

Just look at this made-in-a-cave arc reactor and think about the immense physical pain Tony Stark had to go through, first with the hommade surgery at the hands of his captors -- without anesthesia - and then replacing the car battery with this. His chest mangled, bones cracked and moved around, a metal tube inserted, a foreign object inserted -- all without so much as an aspirin. Tony's PTSD goes back to this point; his fragile "arrogance" is an armor hiding his inner trauma - never forget. by madelyn

And it’s not a big deal cause jeans are an essential part of everyone’s wardrobe so it is quite normal to own lots of them.
