Check this website out! It gives a lot of information about psychosis including who can help you, frequently asked questions, as well as some personal stories! This website also offers some advice for friends and family so if you wanted to pass it along to some loved ones, that may be a great idea too! I know you are in recovery but it still helps to learn new things and hear about other individuals who have the same disorder!
Storyline Online is a great, free website where famous people do read-alouds! I have used this to "tame the chaos" at the end of the school day. Kids love listening to the stories, and it gives the teacher time to get all of that "end of the day" stuff done!

Awesome book. I love Ted Dekker's style. His stories are so gritty but always have a good message.

We recently stayed in the beautiful Tremont Hotel in Galveston and I LOVED our room. This room has the same bedding that we already have but gives me inspiration to give our room the same clean feel we loved at the Tremont.

For the party, it is required that you dress up as a character from your favorite book. Books include: Novels, short stories, children's books, and play/musical scripts. Mangas and Comic Books are not allowed. Also, you are required to bring a copy of the book that you are pulling a character from. Don't worry, you'll get it back.

I love the kind of hugs where you can physically feel the sadness leaving your body! ~Those are the best! :) xoxo
Simple Shape Book: We are working on basic shapes. My kids love two things: glue sticks and reading books. So, I combined their two loves by creating them a Simple Shape Book! They get to glue shapes into the book and then read it over and over again. Fun! Considering my kids have a pretty short attention span, I created the book with only three shapes. A circle, square and triangle. Can teach Colors and Shapes at the same time.
I LOVE this idea for a book swap or book club. Everyone pick a book and write 3-4 simple descriptors on a plain cover. Everyone picks a new book based on those descriptors alone.
