Patterson Cabin, one of the first houses built in Lexington, Kentucky sometime after April 1779. In 1775, hunters from Harrodsburg were camping near here when they heard the news of a battle in the small Massachusetts town of Lexington. They commemorated the event by naming the site Lexington. Four years later, Robert Patterson about 25 others hacked out a clearing in the heavy canebrake beside the Elkhorn River built a crude fort. When the men of the squadron have a mission that they are going on, they take turns walking through the grass and the American soil  to bring them good luck. The victimized puppies involved in the act of cruelty were so severely injured that they died. Another hotel guest who discovered the injured pups had tried to help, but one puppy died on the way to the veterinary clinic, and the other died after arrival. #kisha carter by theresa
