Anybody in need of a stress ball? Easy peasy project for kids: You can make your own with rice or small beans like lentils, kidney or black beans along with a balloon. Get a balloon, blow it up to stretch it and let the air out.... get a funnel or rig one. Put the beans and/or rice in the balloon (probably 1/2- full cup; don't stuff the balloon to much because it will break from manipulation) tie balloon and bammm! Stress ball! Or fill with play dough for a squishier version!
Keep a potato around until some eyes start growing on it. Slice a piece of the potato off where the eye is, and put it in a cup with water covering the potato, but not the eye.
