These mason jar lanterns are adorable and so easy to make! First spray paint a mason jar (we used a Quart Size Jar) with frosted glass spray paint. Apply 3-4 coats of the frosted glass spray paint. Once the paint is dry, apply the vinyl decal. Then wrap some heavy gauge wire around your jar to create a handle, and embellish with ribbon. Add a tea light and your done. These would make adorable table decorations for your Thanksgiving or Christmas by Landandsea4me

Cheap glasses, rubber bands, and frost spray paint. Place rubber bands how you want, then use Rust-Oleum Frosted Glass spray paint, waiting 2 min in between coats. Once dry you will want to use a sealer to make it water resistant. You can use Krylon Matte Finish Spray or Krylon Crystal Clear Acrylic Coating. by Marlynn Rutenberg

I make these cool lanterns with the kids all the time! Very easy and low casot. You collect glass jars and tissue paper. Dilude white glue with a little water (1 part water, 3 parts glue) and apply it to the glass jar. Add tissue paper and more glue on top to create a varnished look. by claudia

Transform a six-panel window into a home office calendar to ease your planning pains. Each day of the workweek is assigned a frame, and the sixth makes room for extra notes or magnets. Tape off the wooden frame with painter's tape. To make your calendar magnetic, spray several coats of magnetic spray paint on the front of the glass, allowing each coat to dry between applications. Then paint each pane with chalkboard paint using a paintbrush to edge and a small foam roller for smooth surfaces. by kerry.fitzpatrick1

Mason jar project (by Jolene Riggs-Burke). Simply take mason jars and paint with textured spray paint. After they've dried completely (these dried for 6 hours), use either suede cord or hemp and wrap the tops (I used both types of cord). Add a jewelry charm and tie in the back. Apply some super glue to the knots in the back to hold cord permanently. by anne

Clean the mason jar and let it dry. Measure the circumference of the jar and cut the lace to fit exactly around the outside. (If you're using twine, measure the length of twine you'll need to make your loops). Go to an open area like the porch and apply the spray glue. Wrap the lace around the jar or circle the twine around the jar. Let it dry. by Helen Prorock Arnett

Just make a glue wash (glue + water) and brush the inside of the mason jars. I used regular ol’ Elmer’s glue, and adding the water helps it brush on easier. Add glitter of your choice (I like silver) to the inside of the jars, and roll/spin the jar around until the glitter coats the sides. Let dry, and….done. Simply add a tea light, and you’re good to go. by der.kata
