This lady is great! I loved her videos on cloth diapering and why you should try it. I'm glad to hear someone else say it's not gross as
"I'm not over selling this when I say this mask EXTRACTS your pimples. Seriously." Gross, I need to try this.
You may not feel much love from all those in your life Jacob but I'm glad you tell me you know I do and your happy I make it a point to show you. I know how much it hurts to have a parent or step parent act like you don't exist just because they think they are perfect and you should be the one making them feel loved when no it's our job to make you feel our love. I love you very much.
"Your biggest challenge isn't someone else. It's the ache in your lungs and the burning in your legs and the voice inside your head that yells "I CAN'T" but you don't listen. You just push harder. And then you hear that voice whisper "I CAN'T." That's when you discover that the person you thought you were is no match for the one YOU ARE."
'Call Me Maybe' Mighty Squat Challenge! KILLS your legs but it's a great, fast workout! I highly recommend! All of her videos are great!
In homage of her great grandma who spent 5 years in #auschwitz Carolinhe tattooed her number on herself. Many might disagree, but I think it's the one #tattoo with the strongest meaning I've ever seen. A personal deep connection to someone loved, and to us a reminder: let us never forget.

If he ever reads this... Which I hope/kinda doubt he will ever... I need you to know that this explains everything between us and them I'm so grateful and happy to have you in my life. It's sad to say that this is one of those cute couple things but hey I don't care. Chris if you are reading this I'm glad you are because this is what I think of all the time. So thank you.

25 Manners Kids Should Know #1: When asking for something, say "Please." #2: When receiving something, say "Thank you." #3: Do not interrupt grown-ups who are speaking with each other unless there is an emergency. They will notice you and respond when they are finished talking. #4: If you do need to get somebody's attention right away, the phrase "excuse me" is the most polite way for you to enter the conversation. #5: When you have any doubt about doing something, ask permission first. It can save you from many hours of grief later. #6: The world is not interested in what you dislike. Keep negative opinions to yourself, or between you and your friends, and out of earshot of adults. #7: Do not comment on other people's physical characteristics unless, of course, it's to compliment them, which is always welcome. #8: When people ask you how you are, tell them and then ask them how they are. #9: When you have spent time at your friend's house, remember to thank his or her parents for having you over and for the good time you had. #10: Knock on closed doors -- and wait to see if there's a response -- before entering. #11: When you make a phone call, introduce yourself first and then ask if you can speak with the person you are calling. #12: Be appreciative and say "thank you" for any gift you receive. In the age of e-mail, a handwritten thank-you note can have a powerful effect. #13: Never use foul language in front of adults. Grown-ups already know all those words, and they find them boring and unpleasant. #14: Don't call people mean names. #15: Do not make fun of anyone for any reason. Teasing shows others you are weak, and ganging up on someone else is cruel. #16: Even if a play or an assembly is boring, sit through it quietly and pretend that you are interested. The performers and presenters are doing their best. #17: If you bump into somebody, immediately say "Excuse me." #18: Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze, and don't pick your nose in public. #19: As you walk through a door, look to see if you can hold it open for someone else. #20: If you come across a parent, a teacher, or a neighbor working on something, ask if you can help. If they say "yes," do so -- you may learn something new. #21: When an adult asks you for a favor, do it without grumbling and with a smile. #22: When someone helps you, say "thank you." That person will likely want to help you again. This is especially true with teachers! #23: Use eating utensils properly. If you are unsure how to do so, ask your parents to teach you or watch what adults do. #24: Keep a napkin on your lap; use it to wipe your mouth when necessary. #25: Don't reach for things at the table; ask to have them passed.

Mango Coconut Chia Pudding... Ok, before you knock it, try it!! This is a super-simple, super-fast, no-cooking recipe & makes a great breakfast treat, snack, or healthy dessert. It's similar to tapioca. I was a bit skeptical of the Chia seeds at first (my only exposure to them being a Chia Head in middle school), but it really turned out great. I'm planning on playing around a bit with some variations on this.
CANT WAIT TO TRY THIS! A lesson in handwashing. A Hand Washing Lesson My K-2 students absolutely loved this. The lesson uses lotion-covered hands and glitter to illustrate how germs spread. I placed glitter on one student’s hand and had the student shake hands, high five, and share a pencil with other students, and watching their reactions when they then had glitter (germs) on their hands was great! They then took turns washing their hands, learning just how much effort you should always
As much as it hurts to say this, I am realizing it is time to let go of some that I thought we would be friends for life. We have grown apart and doesn't seem like we are ever going to find the time to catch up or keep up with each other.. I wish you and your families the best. You were always such a great friend, moving was a hard decision but one I am glad I made.
these are some of the best wedding vows I've ever heard of: his pledge to her: "i will kill the spiders. i will share my fries with you when you’ve finished all yours and are still hungry. i won’t ever pop my collar. i will never be rude to your tummy- when i hear it growl and gurgle, i promise to bend down and reply respectfully. i will eat the mushrooms when we order the supreme pizza. i will kiss the papercuts. and the door-slammed finger. and the counter-bumped hip. i’ll try my hardest no...
Elizabeth Smart speaks on human trafficking -CSMonitor.com "I thought, 'Oh, my gosh, I'm that chewed up piece of gum, nobody re-chews a piece of gum, you throw it away.' And that's how easy it is to feel like you know longer have worth, you know longer have value" "Why would it even be worth screaming out? Why would it even make a difference if you are rescued? Your life still has no value." Smart says children should be educated that "you will always have value and nothing can change that."
Weight Watchers Key Lime Pie - Nancy has made this a few times for me now and it's getting to where when I'm down to the last couple of pieces I'm asking her to make sure we have the ingredients for another one on hand. Great Diabetic dessert, especially when you use "Lite" yogurt in addition to the "Lite" and fat free cool whip...but be mindful of the carbs.

I stuffed myself with Cheetos yesterday and then someone said: “Oh no, you will have to work all that off tomorrow.” And I was just like: “I don’t care, the stuff tastes amazing.” As the saying goes: One moment on your lips, forever on your hips. But what to do, when the moment is so great? Jennifer Lawrence, on her love of food.

Day 22 - Roger was gone when we woke up this morning. But he left a note for the kids which reads as follows: Dear David and Christopher, Thank you so much for letting me stay with you this month. I've had so much fun!! I got to climb your Christmas tree, eat some brownies, make sugar angels, play games with your stuffed animals, and really loved playing hide-n-seek with you. It was awesome! I have to go back to the North Pole now to help Santa. He has a BIG night ahead of him since it's Christmas Eve and we need all the elves to lend a hand so that the gifts are delivered on time. I'll be sure to let him know how good you boys have been and that you should definitely be on the NICE list this year. Hope to see you next year! Your friend, Roger
