Do remember getting to know yourself in the mirror when you were a kid? I do, standing on the livingroom sofa, just like this little girl. I loved looking at myself. No selfies in those days! But the truth is it is wholesome and normal to want to spend time looking at ourselves! So don't be surprised to find your little one looking in a mirror! Don't make fun of her, rather compliiment her and walk away. This is her personal time!

“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.” To this day, especially in times of “disaster,” I remember my mother’s words and I am always comforted by realizing that there are still so many helpers – so many caring people in this world.” - Mr. Rogers
