How I write in my prayer journal! Prayer journals are great to keep a record of all that you have to be thankful for and all the prayers that God has answered. The key to a prayer journal is writing down all that you ask for and then being sure to go back when God has answered that prayer and writing that down! Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen (The Memorare ) by maureen

SARAH YOUNG DEVOTIONAL (JESUS CALLING) - Do not be surprised by the fiery attacks on your mind. When you struggle to find Me and to live in My Peace, don’t let discouragement set in. You are engaged in massive warfare, spiritually speaking. The evil one abhors your closeness to Me, and his demonic underlings are determined to destroy our intimacy. When you find yourself in the thick of battle, call upon My Name: “Jesus, help me!” At that instant, the battle becomes Mine; your role is simply to trust Me as I fight for you. My Name, properly used, has unlimited Power to bless and protect. At the end of time, every knee will bow (in heaven, on earth, and under the earth), when My Name is proclaimed. People who have used “Jesus” as a shoddy swear word will fall down in terror on that awesome day. But all those who have drawn near Me through trustingly uttering My Name will be filled with inexpressible and glorious Joy. This is your great hope, as you await My return. Ephesians 6:12; For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. 1Samuel 17:4; And everyone assembled here will know that the LORD rescues his people, but not with sword and spear. This is the LORD's battle, and he will give you to us!" Philippians 2:9-10; Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 1Peter 1:8-9; You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls. by Guitano Bucci

The just shall live by faith. Romans 1:17How do we live by faith? Faith doesn’t follow one’s feelings. Real faith takes God at His word. Faith is the reality of things not seen. Faith makes it possible to see what you otherwise can’t see. People of faith are prepared to live like no one else can. Jesus is amazed when He sees real faith in people. (Luke 7:9)Paul says it this way: “The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” (Galatians 5:6) And how does the Bible define faith? It says that Faith is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead.” (Hebrews 11:1) My prayer for you today is that you may always have this kind of faith, and that you may receive all that God has in store for you!Prayer: Lord, grant me the kind of great faith that pleases and “amazes” You. Give me a growing passion for Your Word and Your presence. Cause my faith to be genuine so that it may be expressed through love and produce good deeds. Thank You for helping me to receive all that You have for me! In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen by Diane A. Smith

“…he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6, NIV) Sometimes when God is doing a work in our lives, it can begin to feel a little uncomfortable. We may encounter people who are hard to get along with or have circumstances that seem beyond our control. When this happens, instead of complaining, getting sour or trying to change everything around you, why don’t you look deep inside and say, “Lord, thank You for doing a work in me.” See, I’ve learned that God is more interested in changing me than He is in changing my circumstances. If I choose to stay sour because I’m not getting my way or discouraged because things aren’t happening on my time table, that’s going to keep me right where I am. If you want to see change, if you want to see God open up new doors, the key is to bloom right where you’re planted. You can’t wait until everything gets better before you decide to have a good attitude. You have to be the best that you can be right where you are. When you bloom where you’re planted, you’re allowing God to work in you, and He will be faithful to complete what He’s started in you! by sadie jones
