Just make a glue wash (glue + water) and brush the inside of the mason jars. I used regular ol’ Elmer’s glue, and adding the water helps it brush on easier. Add glitter of your choice (I like silver) to the inside of the jars, and roll/spin the jar around until the glitter coats the sides. Let dry, and….done. Simply add a tea light, and you’re good to go. by der.kata

To make each of these holiday jars you will require some acrylic paints, mason jar, ribbon and flameless tealight. First paint the jar in any one color of your choice. After painting the background paint a snowman with white color and paint its further details like eyes, nose, scarf and buttons. If you want add some glitter too. Then tie a ribbon or piece of tartan print cloth around the upper end of the jar. Put a tealight inside it and enjoy the view. by Laurel's Boutique

Mod Podge. Love the stuff, but after a while it can get quite expensive. So for years now I’ve used Elmer's School Glue. I buy it by the gallon and make up the Mod Podge recipe as I need it in a mason jar. Just add half water, half Elmer's glue, replace the lid, shake it up and you’re ready to go. If you need it thicker, use less water! My preferred rate of dilution is 3/4 Glue, 1/4 water. by Amarettobabe Vda

Clean the mason jar and let it dry. Measure the circumference of the jar and cut the lace to fit exactly around the outside. (If you're using twine, measure the length of twine you'll need to make your loops). Go to an open area like the porch and apply the spray glue. Wrap the lace around the jar or circle the twine around the jar. Let it dry. by Helen Prorock Arnett
