I'd want to add some greenery, too! "Make a simple chandelier out of a hula-hoop and a few strings of lights. Icicle lights generally work the best, because of how they dangle. Spray paint the it to the color of your choosing. White usually works best. Wrap the hula-hoop in the lights and then tie some fishing line around 3 or 4 sections of it and then hang it up. Best of all, this does not only work for Christmas. It can be used any time of year!" by sonya

Once you get the hang of them, rolled felt flowers are easy to make and a fun way to decorate a premade wreath form. Make the Halloween craft: Cut a square of felt -- start with 5 inches -- and round the corners. Cut the square spirally, until you end at the center. Begin rolling at the outer edge, hot-gluing as you go, to create the flower. When you reach the center piece, glue it to the bottom to hold in place. HULA BLOCKERS:All you need is a couple of hula hoops and a bean bag. Set the hula hoops flat on the ground several feet apart (ours were about 8 feet or so). To play, each player stands in their own hula hoop and attempts to toss the bean bag into the other hoop. The defender tries to block the bean bag from landing inside the circle, by using their hands, feet, head, etc. to deflect it. by Camille Fite English

You put an item in the mystery bag and then have the kids take turns asking questions to try to narrow down the possibilities. It is great to develop deductive reasoning skills. (You could also do this with sticky notes all week and "reveal" it on Friday. Have a separate piece of paper where students place their questions throughout the week. As you have time, move their questions to the "Yes" or "No" side. It will generate excitement all week long.) by tamara

To start the year, you could give sentences that they just need to finish (My name is... or "I like to...") Then, as the year goes on, kids can just start writing their own. LOVE IT! by sharon.smi

My First Rag Rug! About 6 Queen Flat Sheets. When ripping a strip off of the sheet don’t rip it all the way off. Instead leave it attached about 1-2 cm and then rip the fabric back the other way. By doing this you will create one long strip which eliminates having to attach each strip together. by susanna

DIY Bottle Cap Flower Garden Art Stake It takes a little trial an error but all you do is take heavy duty pliers and smash the bottle caps into petal shapes and then epoxy or use a super glue rated for metal and attach to a can top in at least two circular rows. Then glue a stick to the back after it's dried 24 hrs. Easy once you get the hang of smashing bottle caps :) by wendi
