Father, thank You for teaching me to count it all joy when I enter into diverse temptations, because patience is having its most perfect work in me. As I learn to be more patient with myself, I also exhibit that same patience with others. Teach me how to wait on You knowing that even if it appears as though the promise may be delayed it is not a denial, but will manifest in the fullness of Your time. Give me the strength to endure, be productive and prosper in the process. Amen. by Velvetina

For all you mamas working to get back in shape post-baby, please remember: Taking care of yourself is important, but sometimes the best way to take care of yourself is to accept that you are a different woman now. We project our shadow onto others when we are afraid of our own greatness, our own light, yet for every finger we point outward there are at least three coming back at us, and if we are really honest with ourselves we will find these qualities within - perhaps not in the situation that is currently presenting, it may be in another area of our life, or even in the past. Be ruthless, call it out. You'll find it.-Premananda Grace by lilly

I learned the hard way that I cannot always count on others to respect my feelings, even if I respect theirs. Being a good person doesn't guarantee that others will be good people. You only have control over yourself and how you choose to be as a person. As for others, you can only choose to accept them or walk away. by BCbliss4b

Wonderful Self-Care spread. Love the way body, mind and heart are divided. It's easy, for me anyway, to engage in self care that may not be well-balanced in all three, and this would help. Do you find that you balance your self care? From @jtrafton by vera

Self-worth comes from one thing: thinking that you are worthy. So be confident. Too many days are wasted comparing ourselves to others and wishing to be something we aren’t. The past few days have been extremely overwhelming for me. As a budding entrepreneur it seems I have a never ending to-do list. I have found recently that my OWN self care has been slipping. And that makes me feel guilty and out of integrity. Because I teach self care. I preach the benefits of it. I need to remind myself from time to time to listen to my own advice. . Those of us who are super sensitive empaths tend to be very outward focused. We are always scanning our environment feeling into peoples moods and energies. We are also natural born people pleasers. We LOVE to help other. Which is a beautiful thing. But it can become harmful to us when we feel guilty saying no. We feel if we say no to someone or an event or project that we are letting someone down disappointing them or worse- making them angry. We often feel that their reaction is our responsibility. And so we put ourselves last time and time again. We say yes over and over until we are completely drained exhausted and resentful. . But no is NOT A BAD WORD. No is a self-loving self-respecting responsible mature and often times kind word. We have to start asking ourselves why we always fall to the end of the line. Why we are so worried about disappointing others- but what about disappointing ourselves? I often ask my clients who are struggling to say no what would you say to a friend in this situation. Because the answer is almost always that the friend should stand up for and care for her energetic needs. So then why is it that YOU do not deserve the same is my next question. . You deserve to say no. You deserve to stand up and to take care of you. You are important and needed in this world. But if you dont give yourself the love you so freely give to others you will be stuck in a cycle of overwhelm turmoil and exhaustion. . Join me on January 26th for a potent conversation on how to care for yourself as a sensitive soul in this world. This powerful workshop is FREE and will ignite you on your path to re-connecting to the beautiful truth of who you are and to working on setting boundaries and practicing the magical word no. . It is simply me saying what has worked for us & [hopefully] being a voice that it's not always that hard, definitely not impossible, I find breastfeeding easier than preparing/carrying around bottles, I am not stuck in a corner nursing all day and it's even possible to nurse twins in public if you so desire... by Wirth, L

Paint is relatively cheap, easy to apply, and makes a big impact. The hardest thing about paint? Picking colors! It's hard to even know where to begin, but I know I want a subdued, neutral/natural feel, with colors that flow from room to room. Since I don't have the house yet, I've been experimenting digitally with paint colors. Last week I created a whole house paint scheme that was soothing and sophisticated. I really like it, but this time I wanted to go for something just a little bolder and moodier. by monimarin
