These two old pennies were given to 4 year old Ruddick Millar by his father Thomas before he boarded Titanic in Belfast as one of the crew. He was working his way to America to find a new life for himself and his young family, as he had recently been widowed. Thomas died in the tragedy. The pennies are still owned by the family.
