The most wonderful gift I’ve ever given cost me almost nothing. I contacted friends and family members and asked them to send me memories and old pictures of my grandfather. Then I wrote one memory (or printed one picture)on each of 365 pieces of cardstock. I folded each in half and secured it with a bit of tape, then placed them all in a big jar I decorated. Every morning for the next year, my grandfather would take out a paper, open it, and see what other people cherished in him. He loved it.

Wolf requirement 5 - D "Show how to use a hammer". You know those rubber band looms the kids are using. Here is a bracelet loom we are making in cub scouts. It is made out of a piece of scrap wood and roofing nails or a nail with a large head . I just had left over nails from redoing my roof. I used a spread sheet to help with nail positioning. I expanded and highlighted the cells then printed them out. I marked the nail position with a red sharpie to make it easier for the cubs.
Today, my team and I had the pleasure of visiting another teacher in our district and they did some of the coolest brain breaks! Of course, I want to share them with YOU! I can't wait to show them to my kids! They will FREAK! Check these out!

Expandable Over The Sink Shelf--got a bamboo version of this. Really makes a big different in the kitchen and in the small space we have. Wish I had purchased a prettier one---like this one--but what I got gets the job done. Plus, we have a small pull-out basket for sponges and such with ours, so I can't complain THAT much!
