Inexpensive baby shower centerpiece and decor ideas. All items can be bought at the dollar store or for about a dollar elsewhere and easy to do it yourself.
Gold dotted shower curtain - great! And get a see-thru/clear shower curtain at your local 99 Cent Store to line the inner part of the tub, so the gold curtain can go on the outside, if there's a shower in the tub.
I love everything about this room -- the gray/white/gold color scheme, the floral accents, the coordination, the chandelier, the curtain/accent wall -- all of it. Click for more pics of gorgeous.

I did the same thing with these clothes pins except instead of glitter I used small wooden crosses I bought at a craft store.
Complete instructions on how to recover a chair. A couple of dark Chippendale chairs got a new look with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Paris Grey. Cushion was re-upholstered with a shower curtain bought at Target.

The Blakley House. We love a rustic, western look. The shower curtain has dark brown hues with fringe at the bottom.

Wet bag tutorial. I wish I read this yesterday when I was buying fabric... I am going to get a $2 shower curtain at Wal-mart for the lining, and use the PUL fabric I bought for diapers.
Arts and crafts
I tried this in my dining room. Super easy! I used four frames I bought at a thrift store and painted white. I bought two sheets of yellow floral scrapbook paper and two sheets of yellow and white striped paper, and cut them to size. I then glued buttons in shades of blue and green to the glass. The frames spell "home" and sit on top of our piano!

Decorated Mary's switch plate!! From ugly cream to bling bling!! A girl can never have enough sparkle in her life. Used the overpriced Martha Stewart glitter paint that my mom bought and just hot glued some rhinestones I bought at a craft store!!! Super easy. Start with a base coat of a similar color to your glitter paint.. Because even with the base coat the glitter paint took 3 coats.
i like the gray wall with black and white accents. but it needs 'some' color, no? A pop of a few red frames or purple or orange
