Tell your own short story by adding a splash of color to j’amazing lace! To create: Start at the hem of your shorts and spray black fabric paint about four inches up. Add extra coats of paint closer to the hem, keeping the top clean and paint-free. Use a piece of paper to repel and block paint as you work your way up. Continue spraying, concentrating more on the bottom, until you achieve the desired ombre effect.
