I have a dear friend who uses this term all the time and it drives me MAD! When she uses it, I know she's NOT fine, and I've begun challenging her on it, telling her she doesn't have to be a freaking stoic, that she can admit she's afraid, angry, hurt, whatever; that life sux, but that she'll go on with it anyway.
