Students pick a book, unwrap it, record it and read for 30 pages. Good date=keep it, finish it, review it. Bad date=return it, and write about why it wasn't the book for you. Great "get to know yourself as a reader" activity! I am SO doing this!

Simple Shape Book: We are working on basic shapes. My kids love two things: glue sticks and reading books. So, I combined their two loves by creating them a Simple Shape Book! They get to glue shapes into the book and then read it over and over again. Fun! Considering my kids have a pretty short attention span, I created the book with only three shapes. A circle, square and triangle. Can teach Colors and Shapes at the same time.

BREATHABLE BUMPERS - As a mom I was concerned about my child’s safety. I read about all the SIDS risks with traditional bumpers. In fact I was reading that pediatricians now do not even recommend padded bumper pads because of the SIDS and suffocation risks. So finding these Breathable Bumpers gave me such peace of mind.

Reading- I just love reading books. It makes me feel as if I'm not so alone and there are people that are like me. Reading helps me run off to a fantasy land when I'm feeling really bad ._. Even though I have not really read books of my choice lately, I already have my list of summer reading books c: wooh.
Flower vase turned Kindergarten end of year teacher gift. I used dollar store foam alphabet and numbers inside the vase. Gingerbread-man craft punch to make the "kids." Mounted "kids" to BBQ wooden skewers I found in the kitchen isle in the grocery store - a pack of 50 for $1.00. On the punch-outs, I had my child tell me favorite things about Kindergarten and I wrote them on the "kids." Easy, quick and cute!
