Nothing is more frustrating that dripping butter or sauce on a favorite shirt, only to leave a permanent nasty little grease spot. Here is a simple, yet effective way to remove a greasy stain . . . Simply Rub plain white chalk into the stain, the launder as usual. The chalk will absorb the grease and it will wash away. Be sure to double check before drying as heavy stains may require 2 applications! by pamela

Cleaning toilet hard water stains. Gary from Lathrop California contacted me with a question that comes up quite a bit on how to clean a toilet with CLR Calcium, Lime & Rust Remover. “How can I remove hard water stains from the toilet? "I remember when it was on I came back from filming to my mum and dad’s, and my parents were like, ‘Shut up, we’re trying to watch you on television!’ I said, ‘Sorry - is it any good?’ And I ended up watching it with them and I was utterly gripped. It was like watching this end to a friendship - devastating. I thought Martin’s acting when he was by Sherlock’s gravestone was so good. So restrained. It’s a beautiful moment." — Benedict on the end of The Reichenbach Fall. by claudia

This is a true story of Mother’ s Sacrifice during the Japan Earthquake. After the Earthquake had subsided, when the rescuers reached the ruins of a young woman’s house, they saw her dead body through the cracks. But her pose was somehow strange that she knelt on her knees like a person was worshiping; her body was leaning forward, and her two hands were supporting by an object. The collapsed house had crashed her back and her head. With so many difficulties, the leader of the rescuer team put his hand through a narrow gap on the wall to reach the woman’s body. He was hoping that this woman could be still alive. However, the cold and stiff body told him that she had passed away for sure. He and the rest of the team left this house and were going to search the next collapsed building. For some reasons, the team leader was driven by a compelling force to go back to the ruin house of the dead woman. Again, he knelt down and used his had through the narrow cracks to search the little space under the dead body. Suddenly, he screamed with excitement,” A child! There is a child! “ The whole team worked together; carefully they removed the piles of ruined objects around the dead woman. There was a 3 months old little boy wrapped in a flowery blanket under his mother’ s dead body. Obviously, the woman had made an ultimate sacrifice for saving her son. When her house was falling, she used her body to make a cover to protect her son. The little boy was still sleeping peacefully when the team leader picked him up. The medical doctor came quickly to exam the little boy. After he opened the blanket, he saw a cell phone inside the blanket. There was a text message on the screen. It said ,” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” This cell phone was passing around from one hand to another. Every body that read the message wept. ” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” Such is the mother’ s love for her child!! by kat62105

Pinner says, A little broom I whipped up with a stick from the yard, some corn husks and some wire. First, I surrounded the stick with corn husks, trying to get a fairly even amount on all sides. Then, about 1/4 of the way up the stick i wrapped wire around everything 3-4 times to secure it. After that I pulled the husks in the opposite direction over my wire and wrapped another piece of wire around it. I thought my husks were just a little too bright so I antiqued them with dark brown briwax. by myra

Hot Pepper Jelly | "I made this recipe and it tastes just like I remember from the farmer's market in Birmingham as a kid. I think many are confused by the name because it's called jelly. The hot pepper jelly we had as kids was never set up. It's just a syrup like consistency you pour over cream cheese and eat until you're sick with crackers. The sweet and hot at the same time is so addictive." by rebecca2
