Beautiful Splash Art Photography! They could be the latest NASA photographs from the cloud systems of Jupiter, a new species of jellyfish, or microscopic views inside the human body. But in fact these amazing images are a whole new art form. The work of self-styled 'aqua artist' Mark Mawson, they are created simply by dropping paint into water.
Jellyfish Lake is a marine lake located on Eil Malk island in Palau, in the Rock Islands, a group of small, mostly uninhabited islands in Palau's Southern Lagoon, between Koror and Peleliu. The beauty of nature! It's a species that's only known from seven specimens collected in the Marshall Islands; they haven't even given it a proper scientific name yet! Right now it just goes by Notobryon sp. e500 but I think it should be given the name "Pixie Dust Nudibranch" because of the iridescent flecks that cover its translucent body.

Central Venous Pressure Monitoring. Normal Sternum: 0–14 cm H2O, Midaxillary line: 8–15 cm H2O. CVP can be measured by connecting the patient's central venous catheter to a special infusion set which is connected to a small diameter water column. If the water column is calibrated properly the height of the column indicates the CVP. In most intensive care units, equipment is available to measure CVP continuously. Normal range for CVP is 3–12 cm water pressure

The Lions Mane Jellyfish is the largest jellyfish in the world. They have been swimming in arctic waters since before the dinosaurs (over 650 million years ago) and are among some of the oldest surviving species in the world.
The largest can come in at about 6 meters and has tentacles over 50 meters long. Pretty amazing when you think these things have been swimming around for so long.
They have hundreds of poisonous tentacles that it used
